Superb! This place is absolutely worth a detour from the highway or a short trip from Red Deer. Our food was amazing, best ciabatta I’ve ever had. Chicken was so moist. The ice green tea was perfect peach and jasmine. The service was also quick, faster than a fast food joint.

But Ona knows it… they know their food is excellent, they know their espresso machine is top notch, they know the finishes across the cafe are luxurious.

However - and this is where it loses a star for me - to be so knowingly high end yet accept a hand written note on the water station that says “high pressure open slowly” or on the bathroom that says “lock broken please knock” doesn’t fulfill the fantasy. Go all the way. Own that you’re the best and adjust the flow rate on the incoming pipe, fix the bathroom lock, make the guest experience flawless from start to finish.

Gorgeous place with even better food. There is seating inside and out and begs for you to stay awhile. There is local produce, pasta and milk for sale.

The entire place has been curated and is a great place for our eyes and tummy.

I thought the prices were a little high for the two items that I got for take out. I got the sour cherry cheesecake and creme brulee croissant.

After just one bite - I would say that the items were worth every penny. You can taste the decadence and my husband and I ate every single crumb.

A really nice little quant coffee and bake shop. Didn’t know how to make a Spanish Latte 😢 anyway settled for a vanilla latte and London fog. An interesting cookie 🍪 dough cupcake! 🧁 what was surprising for a bake shop was the lack of selection on display. Literally only 3 things on display and all the display stands and cases were empty. Decor is great with nice patio area. No real vibe with music or anything. But seating adequate and nice. Not enough plug points for hanging out and plugging in a laptop so had to move to a high top counter when battery 🪫 starting dying. But just at that point we were told not to get comfortable as they were closing around 4pm. Which seemed a little early. Otherwise a nice little coffee shop all in all.

I love ONA Cafe so much! We make a point to swing by every time we drive back from Calgary to Edmonton, which is often. Aesthetically this cafe is absolutely gorgeous. So classy and elegant, airy and bright but also relaxed.

The food and drinks are delightful and so delicious. I’ve tried most things on their staple menu and their daily specials are always so tempting. I love their soup of the day, always satisfying. And honestly, everything we’ve tried has been amazing.

Service is always very friendly and prompt. The owners are so lovely and sincere. Such a win for the Lacombe community, I’m jealous and wish they had a location closer to home.

I heard my self-professed coffee-snob friend say this did not disapoint their rich European friend, who thought most Canadian coffees were short of disgusting. So that's basically saying this place knows what they're doing.

I will say I was finally able to pop in child free and enjoy a strawberry pastry and coffee. It was quite delicious, but for a Timmy's girl like myself, I did not instantly become more refined. Instead I spent a bit more than I normally would have enjoying a treat and supporting a local business.

I would recommend for its very modern vibes and delicious coffee/food.
