A lovely restaurant with delicious food, romantic atmosphere, and exceptional welcoming owners. We enjoyed the bacon & clams with the orca salad appetizers. We will definitely be back to try more of their creative menu. Drinks were refreshing blackberry mojitos. Mine was Non-alcoholic and tasted fantastic. An extra fun discovery was that the owners make their own fruit vinegars that they use for drinks and salad dressings.

What a gem! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent—the perfect combination that compelled me to write a review. Between the two of us, we shared the Orca salad, the scallops, and the veal osso buco, finishing with a crème brûlée.

Such a beautiful little restaurant! I honestly think this was the best steak I’ve had in my entire life, it was incredible! The salal gin & tonic was so tasty too, I love all the different homemade berry syrups they have. I’m not in Alert Bay very often but I think I’ll have to make a trip back one day just to come to this restaurant again 😊

What an unexpected treasure of a restaurant! Wonderful vibe, excellent food and great service. My partner had the seafood linguine, I had the halibut & veggies and we shared the Orca salad. High quality ingredients, tasteful presentation and everything was very tasty. Much recommended!!!

This is the best restaurant in Alert Bay (but likely also the priciest). Mains are ~$20-50. The food was excellent and the presentation was admirable. I would definitely recommend to tourists who are looking for a place to eat.

There is also a pub next door, which does not seem to be associated with the restaurant. It appears to only be open on Saturdays though.

Wow, literally a diamond in the rough! Delicious, well presented dishes, which are plentiful and never leave you hungry and only wanting more.
The service is amazing; Bill and Jenny are professional and very attentive.
Truly a must do when visiting and definitely if you are a resident.
I highly recommend this diamond in the rough; you won't be disappointed!

Went to dinner with some work colleagues. The owners were delightful and the food was delicious. Presentation is 10/10. Highly recommended the salmon salad and peach cider!
