A hidden gem serving elevated Vietnamese street food with heart!

The creamy snails, mango shrimp salad, and baby clams were bold, fresh, and beautifully balanced. The pho was exceptional — rich, aromatic broth with just the right heat and freshness in every spoonful.

We always have a wonderful time when we eat here! The Vietnamese cuisine is top-notch – everything tastes incredibly fresh and delicious, and I especially love their diverse and flavorful vegan options. What really sets this place apart is the team; the staff are so friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. It's also excellent value for money, and you absolutely have to try their refreshing coconut juice drink!

I visited the downtown location of Langford Original Pho after hearing glowing recommendations about its quality. The pho was satisfactory, with a balance of flavors that were not too overpowering, which I appreciated. However, the lemongrass chicken was excessively salty, making it difficult to enjoy. While the overall experience had its merits, this dish fell short of expectations.

Authentic Pho with Exceptional Service!

I was greeted warmly the moment I walked in and quickly seated with water and a friendly offer for a beverage. For a casual dining spot, the service was impressively professional—quick, attentive, and efficient. I was especially amazed that the staff could memorize our orders without writing them down!

My food arrived within 5–10 minutes, and the presentation immediately stood out—beautifully plated, especially for a pho restaurant. I ordered the pho with tripe, brisket, and tendon, and it did not disappoint. The broth was the star of the show—rich, flavorful, and easily the best I’ve had. The addition of half-cooked onions and black pepper elevated the taste even more. The brisket and tripe had great texture, and although I personally prefer the tendon a bit softer, it was still enjoyable.

What sets this place apart is that they offer a bowl combining tripe, tendon, and brisket as a menu item—which is surprisingly rare, even among other pho spots. That alone keeps me coming back!

There was a small mix-up with portion sizes— I ordered a regular and got a large (which I didn’t mind at all and got to take the rest home!). My neighbor had the opposite experience: he ordered a large but received a regular. Though the price was adjusted, he was still a bit hungry. We didn’t notice until the end of the meal, but it’s something to watch for next time.

Still, the overall experience was excellent. The food is top-notch, the staff is fantastic, and the parking is easy and stress-free. Definitely my go-to pho spot whenever a craving hits. Highly recommend!

Dog-friendly seats outside, the lovely staff even brought my dog a special treat of brisket!! Food was really fresh and yummy as well, so glad we chanced upon this place on our road trip.
