First time at this cafe. Wish it was table service but minor detail. Food was so fresh and delicious. Prices are very good for both the food and the drinks. Had no room for dessert but they looked delicious too. Will definitely be going back.

This gem was my last spot for my Ladysmith visit. Menu was pretty simple. And the oyster chowder soup was good. And the place was beautiful and peaceful. Friendly staffs, clean table organized community. They have sources of marine activities as well. We loves this place.

Cute spot for lunch on the water. Great menu selection and atmosphere.
I ordered the Chicken Santa Fe wrap and had them leave out the chicken (vegetarian) the woman taking our order went the extra mile to see if it was an allergy issue or not.
The food was fresh and flavorful.

Helpful Tip: we bought water bottles with our meals as we were unaware that there is actually free water available. There is a water dispenser near the door out to the patio and mason jars are provided in the same spot.

Wer einen entspannten Vor- oder Nachmittag verbringen möchte, ist hier bestens untergebracht.
Inmitten der schönen Boote und Yachten kann man sehr erholsam sein Dasein fristen, Kaffee trinken oder eine Kleinigkeit essen. Wie überall auf dieser schönen Insel, sind auch hier alle sehr freundlich zueinander, besonders zu Touristen.
Morgen werden wir von hier aus den „Marine Walk“ machen und zum Abschluss hier einkehren!

I took guests to the cafe tonight for dinner and was hugely disappointed. The service was terrible. The wait staff are very inefficient and forgetful. We waited 15 minutes to put in our drink order and another 35 to get our drinks. We put our order for appys and mains in as soon as our drink order arrived. Then we waited an hour for our appys which did not come as ordered. We had to ask for cutlery and plates but only the cutlery came so I went into the kitchen and asked for plates. Fifteen minutes later three of our four mains arrived and the forth had not started being prepared. The food once we got it was good but we were upset enough we weren’t able to enjoy it. VERY disappointing and embarrassing.

This quaint little outdoor treasure located within the Ladysmith Maritime Community Marina is a true gem. The Oyster Bay Cafe is located on the water amidst the boats moored at the marina. They used to only be open for breakfast and lunch but have now expanded to dinner as well. My partner had the tuna burger which was cooked to perfection and I had the Santa Fe wrap which was also very good.

As we sat at our table, some people pull up in their dinghy to come enjoy the atmosphere and wonderful food.

You can’t get a dining experience much closer to the water! An absolute treasure!

Most amazing crab ? cakes I have ever had!!! Ceaser salad was absolutely deliciously made! Yummy!!! During 3:00 pm and 5 pm you can have a menu with all $5 items!!! Including Corona and red and white wine!!! The staff are super friendly and accommodating!!! You can eat outside on the patio and watch the boats!! They are only open until September so I suggest to while you can!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Last day of the season but our first time trying their food... everything was great! The morning glory muffins were soooo fresh! My eggs benny was too perfection, and I liked the fruit on the side rather than hash browns. Staff were friendly and quick.
The setting was gorgeous and a sunny Sept Labor Day! Worth the drive/walk,boat
