Irish pub with many draft beers on tap. Nice outdoor patio. The fish and chips are really good and have large portions. We thought the nachos were okay. They did have lots of fresh ingredients on top. We just wanted more cheese. The service was excellent, we didnt have to wait long for anything. Very friendly.

Great pub food in an old pub atmosphere. The chicken schnitzel was outstanding and drinks were nice and strong. My two kids enjoyed their steak and frites also. Dessert menu is weak with only cheesecake on the menu. I recommend this establishment if you're in the mood for pub food and atmosphere.

Get yourself a pie & a pint! Staff is great, food is great, atmosphere is great!

Was working in the area and came here again for my second time. As exhausted I was from a huge day of work I had instead this tme the tuna poke tacos and sweet potato fries. The tacos were larger than I was expecting and I really did not need the fries, though both were delicious. The tacos were very, very good. Highly recommend! And while I did not finish the sweet potato fries it's not because they were bad it's just because I was full! Staff was just as fantastic as the first time.

During my recent visit to Paddy Flaherty’s Irish Pub in Sarnia, Ontario, I had the pleasure of enjoying their steak and mashed potatoes, a pint of Guinness, and to top it all off, the apple pie for dessert.

The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and packed with flavor—paired with creamy mashed potatoes that had just the right amount of butter and seasoning. My pint of Guinness was poured with care, boasting a smooth, velvety finish that made it the perfect companion to the meal.

For dessert, I went with their apple pie, and it did not disappoint. The flaky crust and warm, spiced apple filling were spot on, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that brought everything together beautifully.

Beyond the food, the pub’s atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and authentically Irish. You can feel that authenticity the moment you step inside. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right.

If you’re looking for a great Irish pub experience in Sarnia—with delicious food, a perfect pint, and a cozy vibe—Paddy Flaherty’s is definitely worth a visit!

Just what we were looking for. We were only in Sarnia one night and we made a great choice in places to eat. The servers were attentive, the food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience at Paddy Flaherty’s in Sarnia. My husband and I went to have some food and drinks. I was carrying a canned cocktail I was already drinking before arriving. I understand that outside alcohol is not allowed, and I have no problem with that rule.

However, from the beginning, the server’s attitude was very unfriendly. While serving my husband’s beer, she accidentally spilled all the seasoning (Tajín) inside the glass. My husband politely pointed it out, but she just replied “yeah, okay” in a rude and dismissive way—she didn’t apologize or offer to fix it.

Later, I placed the can I was drinking on the table. Without saying anything, the server just grabbed it and tossed it aside, without even politely explaining that outside alcohol wasn’t allowed. I would have understood if she had just communicated it kindly.

Then, my husband ordered a drink for me, and she asked who it was for. When he said it was for me, she immediately said “No.” My husband tried to clarify, but she firmly refused to serve me.

I understand I made a mistake by bringing an outside drink, but that does not justify the rude and unprofessional behavior we experienced. Customers deserve to be treated with basic courtesy, no matter the situation. Very disappointing experience.

Little gem of a place. I had the shepherd's pie... awesome. Homemade savory and flavourful gravy with creamy mashed potatoes. My husband had the fish and chips. He got two huge
battered pieces of flaky haddock with fries. Both portions were more than generous. Busy little place. Would highly recommend what we ate.
