First and foremost, the adaptation of Chinese dishes to suit Canadian tastes seems to have led to a loss of authenticity. While fusion can be exciting, it's important to maintain a balance that caters to both sets of flavors. Unfortunately, this balance seems to be missing, leaving diners longing for the genuine Chinese culinary experience.

The service experience during our visit was less than satisfactory. The attendant who served us appeared rushed and disengaged. I, being a hearty eater, started to order some appetizers, only to have the menu pulled out of my hands. A warm smile and an engaging attitude were conspicuously absent throughout our interaction.

What astonished me even more was the speed at which our order arrived – my party's six-item order was served in less than 10 minutes. While efficiency can be appreciated, it raised concerns about the freshness and preparation of the dishes. Quality should never be sacrificed for the sake of haste.

In conclusion, Panda Garden in Bonnyville, Alberta, might offer a novel twist on Chinese cuisine, but it falls short in terms of both authenticity and service quality. Dining experiences should be enjoyable and welcoming, and it's regrettable that our visit didn't quite meet these expectations.

Fantastic service, very polite. The food was great, and the portions were very large for take out order. Best I have had in the area.

I give five stars just to show some support to a Chinese restaurant in this town. To be honest, as a Chinese, I can responsibly tell you it's not real Chinese food. The real Chinese food is one hundred times better than these. I ordered the quite famous dish in China which is Kung Pow Chicken. I have to say, totally wrong ingredients. It's an insult to the real Kung Pow Chicken. Really hope they can make real Chinese food, but maybe people here don't like it.

What a terrible experienced. We stopped by Bonnyville from Cold Lake before heading back to Edmonton. Our kids are Hungry and we decided to try this restaurant. We waited for almost 10 mins before the lady approached us and told us that if we are going to dine in they are busy in a grumpy way. She even didn’t apologize for waiting.
Customer service is horrible. To the owner of this restaurant, I’m sorry but you need to do something with your business. Our friends are supposed to join us dinning in your restaurant. After what happened we went to the other Chinese restaurant in town and earned our business.

If 0 were an option. For $25 you’ll get rice hard enough to break your teeth and food that was cooked who knows when.That’s all if you make it through the grim reaper of customer service who takes your order. I am always for supporting small business but not at the expense of my stomach. Please make fresh food and serve paying customers with a smile a positive attitude.

Were the only ones in the restaurant and we stood there as one young gal couldn't be bothered you were there, and that was obvious once seated as your plate was just placed down and she walked away.
Never did get water refills or a bill, but they jumped when we got up to leave. Food was OK, but we will be trying their competition next time I am in town
