I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. First, they ask when you arrive if you’re staying alone and I’ve never been asked that in other hotels.
Secondly, there were no towels in the room. Reception wouldn’t answer and though I got a text upon checking in that said to let them know if they could help, I let them know and they said someone would be in touch to help & then they didn’t follow through.
Thirdly, I was in a room with a door between my room and the adjacent room (that could be opened like a family room if you had booked both rooms). Though it was closed and locked there was a lot of light coming through the door. I could hear everything in the other room and also I didn’t feel like security was the best. I kept waking up during the night to the door rattling between the two rooms- maybe just the other person moving around but still. Also there were people walking around in the main hallway between 1-3 am and my door was tried. I had both the locks on but wasn’t really able to get a good sleep with all this going on.
The bed was comfortable but I wouldn’t go here again.
It is also very noisy with traffic going past and just overall not the greatest. I’ve stayed in other hotels in this same area and would definitely choose another next time.

We had 3 rooms. First room bathroom sink was full. Pulled the plug and the water drained onto the floor. Second room food all over the couch and blood on the bed spread. Third room had no coffee and the bed smelled like urine. Pulled back the sheets and there’s 2 big pee stains on the bed. Smoke detector needed a new battery in the hallway and beeped constantly. Very gross.

This is a basic budget hotel but it doesn't feel like that because the property is new and decor while sparse is modern, rooms are clean, beds are good and everything seems to work. There's shuttle service, breakfast in the morning and the Radisson across the parking lot has a reataurant/bar. Nothing else in the area within walking distance and it's a bit further than the main group of hotels which is why the price (when I booked) was the lowest in the area. If you're interested in stepping out and having a few dining/bar options within a few steps or you need amenities like a pool etc. then this hotel won't be for you, but if you want to save money on a layover by the airport but not be in some dingy old motel then this hotel is perfect for that.

My family and I stayed at this hotel the night of November 6th and checked out November 7th as we were heading to Banff. At 9pm a woman from the front desk called up to our room waking my young children and accuse us of taking the baggage cart and leaving it in our room which i replied we carried up of bags and never used the cart.
On November 14 I saw on my credit card that I had been charged twice
Upon calling the hotel they said they charged us because the house keeper said all the towels were missing from the room!
THIS IS A LIE I personally feel like we were targeted !
We would not take towels or anything!
We are very well off that we don’t need to steal and wouldn’t steal.
Upon calling the hotel the lady at the front desk told me she would have house keeping call me in the morning. I received no call. So I kept calling I had to talk to 3 different front desk employees before the matter was resolved and was promised a follow up for the hotels mistake and that I would hear from the manager. That never happened
I do not recommend staying here and don’t appreciate being falsely accused
I have contacted customer relations and opened up a case ID as I am LIVID

Upon my first initial review I was very upset I have left it up to show what happen

After waiting 2 days I called again and finally spoke to a new front desk agent on Friday November 15th at 4:30pm she was remarkable and apologized for the situation and refund the charge back to my CC
Her outstanding customer service has is one this establishment should recognize if management is smart there should be a promotion in her future as she was outstanding and we should know as we own our own company in the oil and gas industry and myself in hospitality.
I hope to be able to speak to management about her impeccable service and performance.

No restaurant in the hotel, we had to go next door to the restaurant in that hotel. They told us it opened at 5, we arrived at 5:30 and lights were off and they were closed. The concierge insisted they would open soon but we waited ten minutes and no one was around so we found somewhere else to eat. The location here isn’t great you have a drive a bit to find any food or shopping. We also had a light in the room that doesn’t work, and no amenities such as mini toiletries. We asked for a mini toothpaste and they said they don’t have any and we have to go next door. So why did we even book here when we could have done “next door” and gotten everything we needed And hotel parking for the shuttle is $75 by the way. That isn’t mentioned when booked. The staff overall are not very helpful either.

Unfortunately, they did not remove the “ChatGPT says” and the end of my review from the start of theirs. Showing me that
1. They didn’t actually read my review and just copy and pasted it into ChatGPT
2. They didn’t care enough to actually check to see if the message looked good.

In conclusion, even worse customer service than I first experienced as of today. I will NOT be returning and will be advising everyone I know that the Park Inn by Radisson in Edmonton is terrible and they’d be better waiting in the terminal overnight!
