My family and I rented both apsen and birch suites last week while in for a shopping trip and it was great. Both are beautiful, comfy,clean beds. Everything is there that you need. Kids and maybe a few adults 😉 enjoyed several hours playing nintendo that is in both rentals. Mark,the host is great to deal with, very prompt. It's def a home away from home and im glad we found it this year because our future visits will be booked through him Ashley

I booked 4 nights here based on the 5 star rating, the fact that it was family owned with the owner on site, reviews that said it had “all comforts of home” and the lovely pictures. |What I found on arrival was a peeling deck, a can for cigarettes right outside the front door that hadn’t been emptied in awhile, a back yard that had not been cut, no deck chairs on the outside back deck. Inside were 3 rickety kitchen chairs, a refrigerator that the controller was broken and was barely cool, a water cooler with no water in it, not enough dishes for 4 people (2 bowls, limited cutlery), dirty placemats, fan in ceiling that was filthy, a kitchen light fixture with only one working light bulb, a toilet seat that was attached on one side, a disgusting shower curtain with pink mold and was “stiff” it was so dirty, a flower arrangement in the bathroom coated with dust, a headboard in one of the bedrooms that wasn’t attached to the bed, a note saying to use the grey face clothes for removing makeup and no grey face clothes, and only one working lamp out of two in the living room. I left a note for the owner Mark. He fixed the head board and toilet seat but never changed the light bulbs. I was very disappointed with the overall cleanliness. |If the owner was on site, they did not introduce themselves to me nor are they available between 9 pm and 7 am.|On a positive note, the Birch room is a very spacious suite and it is a good price. It also has a beautiful stream running behind it and a walking path nearby. |I, however, do NOT recommend Park Avenue Suites nor will I ever stay here again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the Park Avenue Suites on our recent trip to St. John's.||It has everything you could need and further more, it feels like you are at home according to many little touches throughout. Fully equipped kitchen, living room with such comfortable sofas, bedrooms with such comfortable beds, fully equipped bathroom, etc. Everything very clean and very well maintained. Well connected with roads where you can go anywhere from its free parking.||In short, the best place we could have chosen for our stay in St. John's.

Park Avenue Suites is a beautiful place to stay. The suite that we had was bright,spacious and had all the amenities you would need for either a short or long stay. Our host E Mark was very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to enjoy the comforts of home away from home.

We were just delighted with everything. Very clean, crispy fresh linens, super comfy beds, roomy. It was perfect for us. Enough tea and coffee to get us through the next day until we picked up a few items of our own. We found it very quiet even though all other rooms were booked as well. Lovely place

Park Avenue Suites has all you need for a great visit to St. John's and area. Locally less than 15min from airport or downtown, it's an ideal location. Comfy beds, beautiful rolling river south in the back. Nice deck! Easy access with keypad. Will definitely stay again.

Location location location
Good big room and clean
Strange and concerning dealing with the owners as only communication is voa chat or email BUT it is legitimate and wr had a good sleep and having a kitchen was perfect.
Internet was the best anywhere in Newfoundland and close to everything St John's - we will recommend this location

Awesome place to stay! Clean, comfortable, everything at your fingertips! Short drive to anywhere you have to visit . Large interior and a private deck outback on each of the two bedrooms! Already have it booked again!
