This Lac La Biche gem is such a welcomed addition. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the food they serve at Pasture + Market. Whether you dine outdoors or inside, the golf course location makes for such beautiful views. We have eaten here three times since we discovered this restaurant two months ago. One brunch and two evening meals. The portions are excellent and the prices are very good. The chef certainly knows what he is doing and we made sure to tell him this! The ingredients used are farm fresh and it is noticeable. Our brunch was Flapjacks and the Farmhouse Breakfast plate. The pancakes tasted from scratch and were a good size. The round sausage patty was so unique tasting and absolutely delicious. The eggs are definitely from a farm and the sourdough toast also tasted homemade. At $14 - this is a steal! The gravy on the Bison Beef Poutine is so tasty and the green peas elevate the dish. The fish in the Baha Tacos are locally sourced, so tender and perfectly seasoned, the corn chips are obviously fresh made. The Bison Beef Short Ribs are probably one of their best menu items. Served over a perfect mashed potato and so good that we have ordered them twice!
I love that the menu has something for everyone, from appies to a fine dining plate. Try the Maple Bacon Popcorn for $5 starter. It's a nice accompaniment to the cocktails that they offer. We had Sangrias, Mojito's, Peach Bourbon Iced Tea, and Megan's expertly prepared Caesar.
The salads are also unbelievably fresh and the housemade Caesar salad dressing and croutons elevate this salad. The Cobb Salad is packed with microgreens, edemame, corn, tomatoes, farm fresh egg, feta and moist flavorful blackened chicken. It is so unique and the garlic aoili dressing is delicious.
My only suggestion for this establishment is that they kick-up their desert selection to be on "par" with the rest of the menu. ( notice the golf pun ) lol
There was only one offering and it was store bought Cinnamon Bun Cheesecake which was dry and disappointing . . . especially after such a great meal. Possibly having in house made Lava Cakes or Fruit Crisps that can be frozen and heated to order would be a good idea if desert is not a big seller. Afterall, a perfect dining experience does not end with the entree.
I can safely say that Pasture + Market is not only a great option when in Lac La Biche, but it is also a dining destination if you are anywhere in the area. We drive 30 minutes to eat here. With so many menu items that we have yet to try, we are looking forward to our future visits.

Awe inspiring view with a golf course overlooking Lac La Biche. Our server Meaghan was friendly and accommodating and attentive. We ordered a variety of food to share, the bison meatballs, pickerel fish and chips, the bison burgers, the peach salad, and the award-winning poutines were all big hits with everyone!

Stopped for a quick lunch with a friend and we both ordered the sliders (3 options available). Much to my dismay I couldn’t order one of each, it was an option of 3 sliders of one flavour. My friend ordered the pulled pork and I ordered the bison meatball. He preferred the bison and I preferred the pork.

Our server was lovely, I believe her name was Megan.

What a great team to work with! From the first phone call to the last arrangements, they were so flexible and accommodating! The food was amazing, amazing prices for top quality and presentation! And everyone loved it! Will definitely be using Pasture + Market again when we're in the area!! They were superb!!

Such a classy restaurant at a golf course.
Bison burger was the best. Our favorite place to dine on our trip from Manitoba to Yellowknife. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't get there a second time !

We finally decided to check out the seasonal restaurant at the golf course. The name is deceiving. The space is completely renovated and upscale, the food is sensational, the patio and views are the best in Lac la Biche County. Only drawback is that it isn't open year round! It operates on the golf course seasonal schedule. I hope they get it again for next season!

An absolutely gorgeous experience!! Megan our server was lovely. The hashbrowns were some of the best I’ve ever had! The eggs Benedict could have been poached a little longer but otherwise everything was incredible. The view is worth it alone
