Went there for the first time to see Mission Impossible, the theatre looks well restored and has brand new comfortable leather (or leather-like?) seats with cup holders that aren’t in the arm rest which is awesome. Plenty of space between seats and rows, loud sound, good picture, friendly staff and the price for the movie ticket and concession was very reasonable compared to big commercial cinemas. The temperature in the theatre was nice and cool too. I can’t wait to come back!

8 dollars the ticket and the popcorn is delicious. You easily be transported into the 1950.

The screen looks amazing and the sounds is quite good. I wish they do have more movies.

I grew up in Powell River and always wanted to take my kids to the Patricia Theatre. I did on my last trip back. It was great. Hadn’t changed at all from the 1980s and I hear it’s now the oldest movie theatre in Canada. When I was a kid there was a nice older man that would play the pipe organ at the front of the theatre before the movie started. Sadly he’s passed away but everything is still there although it’s not played anymore. I was amazed at how nothing had changed at all. It’s like stepping back in time. Downside is when we arrived we were told they didn’t take credit card but to their credit they said I could bring cash by later and they gave me the cash to buy tickets and popcorn and I paid them back later in the day. You don’t see that kind of service or trust very often anymore. Can’t recommend it enough while in PR.

What a great theatre to watch a movie in "WONKA" if you are in Powell River this is a must. Classic and do in expensive $8 a person for the film and $12 for popcorn and a drink. Awesome thank you so much for keeping The Patricia Theatre going ❤️❤️❤️ I remember going to this theatre 30 years ago when they had a gentleman playing a one man band as entertainment before the show that doesn't happen anymore but a great memory.

Went to the minecraft movie with my nephew and a bunch of teenagers would not stop screaming at the top of their lungs whenever they said somthing kinda cool did it atleast 32 times movie theatre did noting about it my 6 year old nephew left the early crying cause he could not here the movie did not even give me a real refund just more tickets to their terrible theatre
