Pay $8 for a loaf of sugar bread that used to be the best. Now ther is absolutely no sugar or cinnamon in it. So disappointing. It one point I would order 50 loafs to take back to Alberta. Now I whould not recommend it to anyone

So times have changed, so has the product... i usually order ahead and pickup later in the day,. Thankfully i didn't do that yesterday. I usually buy 3 or 4 dozen cronuts and jelly doughnuts. Yesterday i bought 2 jelly doughnuts. The girl put them in the bag and i left.. when i got home as i was putting the doughnut bag on the counter i noticed the bag looked very grease saturated. When bit into the crust on one side was hard ,the otherside soft greasy, then my mouth was filled with flavour of greasy gross taste . I could not eat the jelly doughnut. Very dis-appointing especially when a jelly doughnut is $2.50 plus tax .. I must check my vehicle seat to see if the grease soaked into the fabric...March 23 2024

....Good pastries, friendly staff, I used to order a few dozen at a time, but as with everything else I cut back because things just cost too ..still on my must have list though.

Wicked amazing awesome bakery. Everything is always 12/10 here. First come first serve for the good stuff, so try to get in early!

Donuts and Nanaimo Bars are great. Service not so much - not friendly, and paid for 6 donuts to find after I left only 5 in the box.

Sausage roll pastry had more of a grease taste than most I’ve had in many places. Sausage meat was dry and pretty much tasteless. Bought one to try, didn’t get more. Too bad. I normally really like sausage rolls.

2nd time back whilst in Smithers.
Good donuts backed up with absolutely crappy service couldn’t even understand the woman and wouldn’t risk asking her to repeat as I was given the snarling look.
I won’t go back.
Businesses have to realise that a smile costs nothing when taking peoples hard earned money.
Improve that and your business will improve,
Don’t and you will loose business as lots of bakeries around.

If you are driving through Smithers BC and want some excellent treats for the highway, or a loaf of healthy bread this is a great place to stop. We enjoyed both our warm breakfast sandwiches and our tasty pastries on our trip North.

Food was outstanding!
Unfortunately, We had the absolute worst customer service.. it was not an enjoyable experience. The young lady made everyone feel uncomfortable with her attitude and tone.. not to mention, she THREW my donut on the counter so hard that it separated in the bag and made it very messy. She didn't seem bothered when I looked at her with a questionable look..
It was awkward. :/
