Had a really good fall round with great weather. The greens and fairways were kept in very good condition but two things detracted from this round being an amazing round:

1) A group of three individuals walking the course that held up the entire afternoon of players. Many people played through them and we caught up to them after a painstakingly long 6-hour round, around hole 15. I understand it's hard for beginners but the course Marshall needs to explain pace of play to people on the course. We ran into multiple groups that were complaining about them. We would take a long time on each hole and allow them to clear the green before hitting, only to find them 50/60 yd from the tee box when we finished the hole, on their 2/3 shot. It was really disappointing to see no pace of play regulation on such a busy day.
2) Do not book carts here as the GPS features are very bad. We had many times where the carts would slow you down almost to a standstill while you were on the cart path and even stop us dead; we had to wait 2 to 3 minutes until it started again saying we were too close to the green when we were about 50 yds out on a par 4! There's constantly screens popping up and ruining your ability to see the range. Popups constantly reminding you to be careful around other players, steep hill ahead, go slowly and no driving on the fairway on par threes to list a couple of the many screens that would take 2 to 3 minutes to allow you to tap and get rid of them. I honestly would consider not playing this place again because how bad the car experience was.

In all it was a nice round and well kept course but it was very frustrating to have the marshal not deal with slow players and to have to pay for a cart that is extremely buggy and provides a lot of features that are not necessary / detract from the game.

Great course with well kept greens. Nice carts with GPS. At the same time very walkable. Great price. Not much to complain about with the course. Variety of tee boxes. Very considerate staff who wish for you to come back. And the course is all sand so it dries up really quick with all the rain we've been having. They even are open in the winter when it is warm too. I recommend this course to all my friends. Especially considering the price of Golf North courses lately.

One of my favorite courses in the area. Always in great shape, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Not overly long but has a layout suitable for all levels of golfers requiring a wide variety of different shots. There's also a driving range and putting green available for practice before your round. Definitely recommend this course and always look forward to playing there.

Great course, played it for the first time this year. Staff was really friendly, t times were on schedule and not behind. The carts had GPS in them so we could see where other players were, our yardage, and any hazards. Beer cart drove around twice to tops us off, and we did not have to stop to get a drink on the turn. We had lunch after, food options were great and the food itself was delicious and fresh. Will definelty be returning to play multiple times a year.

Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways and tees not the best and need some TLC. Interesting golf holes, some challenging with tight fairways. Like the norm in Ontario slow play is an issue. After being called through on the first our 2 ball played the first 10 holes in 1hr 10. After catching up with the group ahead on 11th tee the next 8 holes were painful waiting several minutes at best on every single shot and took 2hrs 15mins. Could be excellent with some TLC but not for beginners IMO, holes are a good test of a seasoned golfer. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Greens were the best thing about this course, but ball-marks everywhere and inconsistent speed/cuts. Felt like public greens.

Tee boxes look like divot mine fields. Black tee boxes untouched.

Fairways pocked mark with unfilled divots and several are near dry-pan.

Bunker sand gravelly and seems low quality mud/sand mix sure to scratch your shiny clubs

Golf carts filthy - sanitary wipes on steering wheel and gps screen were black like they've never been cleaned or wiped. Walked the next round to avoid sitting in plastic filth.

Cart paths all dirt and covers everything you own in dust; walkers will avoid this.

New fancy sign should say "Private prices at Public conditions."

First 2 holes treelined par 5s with moderate rough and watched most every golfer ahead hunting for lost golf balls in the high rough turning 8 minute holes into 18 minutes each of waiting.

Par 3s are the next best thing of this course and all of them feel like proper golf holes, especially from the black tees. However several silly holes that feel very public golf (4, 6, 7, 13, 17).

Pace of play was slow both rounds played here and/or felt slower with all the waiting.

Tee times are 8 minute intervals and looks like they are trying to squeeze as many golfers as possible. Early morning golfers reported 3.5-4hr rounds.

Overall, it is an overpriced public golf course worth about $1.50/hole not $3/hole. Walking recommended as the power carts are eeks dirty and may also save you frustration of waiting, waiting, waiting.

Pine knot was a stunning venue for our fall wedding. The entire staff and bartenders were very organized and we appreciate how wonder and helpful they were. Rehearsal Dinner food was also top notch! Dining on the patio with heaters was a really fun touch to a fall celebration!
