Raise taxes to pay for excessive daft projects like a new costly RCMP police station (overkill) and a new pricey fire hall (overkill) with many new firefighter hires. Bonson park
remodeling with frisbee catchers (dah) and additional bylaw officers, Fraser Way reconstruction of fencing along park and the construction work off Bonson in May 2025.

Shame on city hall not including the round-about waste of $$$ that was cosmetically changed several times over the past few years at Bonson Road & Airport Way and now a controlled light intersection. Money grows on trees, let's publish the wages of managers, CUPE overpaid city hall staff and others..

After two negative experiences with the City of Pitt Meadows, I have decided to relocate all future business ventures. The city's inconsistent policies and communication have led me to cancel two projects: a film production and a retail comic business. These projects will now be based in another municipality.

I have found a significant disconnect between city officials' understanding of business logistics and their actions, which has created a difficult environment for entrepreneurs. This includes a lack of clarity on regulations, such as distinguishing between different types of commercial vehicles, which resulted in us being incorrectly fined for following city rules. I also observed that issues like homelessness remain unaddressed. Based on my experiences and those of other local business owners, I believe the City of Pitt Meadows is not a supportive or professional environment for business.

We went to vote in the Advance Poll. The station was immediately in the door, on our left. We were greeted very nicely, and sent to the area to receive our ballots and instructions. At the voting station, I found my station had a chair, which the others didn't. That was good. The ballot was clean, simple and easy to complete. We were instructed to then proceed to the ballot machine, which accepted our ballots. And, all done! Easy, peasy.

Can you please send a reminder for property tax due dates 3-7 days prior. You are pretty quick to penalize. Is that what you really want?
