I went looking for a place where I could take care of my wellbeing and do some self-care. I am so happy that I found Planet Beach in Spruce Grove! I love the infrared sauna for detoxing, the red light therapy is great for my skin and my tan looks amazing! I also love to relax in the massage chair. Everyone at Planet Beach is so friendly and helpful, they always make my experience really wonderful and relaxing. I think that the membership is also very reasonable for all of the services I receive.

I leave here feeling great every time with the spa beds, tanning, sauna, and more. Marissa and Staff are always friendly and informative.
The salon is clean, and services on time.

I had been a loyal member at Planet Beach for quite some time and truly appreciated the kind and professional ladies who work there — they’ve always been wonderful. Unfortunately, my membership was cancelled by the owner, Marissa, on June 20, 2025, after I raised a concern regarding a persistent burning or melting rubber smell coming from one of the tanning beds. This issue had been ongoing for approximately two months and became concerning when I noticed it again during a recent visit, especially since she also had difficulty starting the bed that day.

I initially mentioned it in person and then later followed up with a discreet, respectful letter, hoping to avoid any disruption at the shop and ensure the concern wasn’t forgotten. I believed I was being helpful by putting safety first. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the concern, Marissa told me I was not in any danger, dismissed the feedback, and referenced other reviews, saying she takes things seriously—though in this case, it didn’t feel that way. She ultimately asked me to leave and said I was no longer welcome.

Additionally, while I always enjoyed the services, some of the equipment is quite dated, with cracks on the beds and ongoing issues with the spray tan booth, which tends to malfunction and leaves streaks. I understand things take time to replace, and she had mentioned a new stand-up bed in storage, but it hasn’t yet been installed.

I’m sad to leave a place I once enjoyed so much, and I hope that by sharing this, it brings awareness to potential maintenance concerns that might need further attention—for the safety and satisfaction of all clients.

I had a fantastic experience with my teeth whitening treatment today. The results exceeded my expectations—I’m truly thrilled with how much brighter my smile looks. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Marrissa, who took care of me, was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. The place itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. I couldn’t be happier with both the outcome and the overall experience.

I love it here, do the annual plan it’s the absolute best value.
I leave here feeling great every time with the spa beds, tanning, sauna, and more. Staff is always friendly, sometimes there are cute little dogs to greet you.
The salon is clean, and services on time.
This place makes for the best self care days, and the treatments help with my chronic pain. I’d go each day if I could. Recommended highly.

Planet Beach Spruce Grove is an excellent place of business. There are a variety of services, the environment is always SPOTLESS and the staff are absolute GEMS.
Shout out Marissa, Dawn and Eva for always being so fantastic. They are all little rays of sunshine that almost give you a tan just by CHATTING with THEM! If you haven't stopped in to check them out, you should!

This place was awesome! Walking in the staff was super positive and helpful, giving me a tour. The facility was clean and the high intensity beds gave me a great tan in just two visits. Going in I was a little skeptical about just how much color you can get in 5 minutes, but this place didn't disappoint. 100% will go again!
