Fyi it is closed as of September 2025. Possibly until the construction is done at college and Gordon? Though, the sign on the door says it should have reopened a month ago. And there was a contractor working on something inside.

It's near the campus, and in the evening, here is one of the closest places to grab a coffee from the campus. Inside is cozy and nice. Also, coffee is delicious.

Coffee was weak and had an off taste. Staff reluctantly agreed to make me another one which had the same weak off flavour taste. Sign outside reads PLANET BEAN COFFEE and inside there are 2 very large logos for Planet Bean coffee on the walls. Staff wear caps stating ‘Food Services’. Is this a university business or a Planet Bean franchise? Coffee shop was virtually empty at 2 pm although it is a great location.

Visited this location, was served stale coffee until we complained and offered a fresh cup from a fresh pot. Over priced and poor quality. Your loafs for a snack priced like they're made to order, and then served frozen... (Also returned) Unfortunate offerings for a cozy coffee shop. You had one staff member who took accountability for the poor surroundings provided. The star I have given was solely for her efforts.

In the past, my family and I visited and loved this location to enjoy a brew or pick up coffe beans. However, bullying and rude behavior from one staff has killed it for us. How can you justify raising your voice to a customer for reusing a coffee bag, grabbing the bag away from them and speaking with condescension? Done.

I came to Guelph and stayed around the area for 3 days for my roadtest. During the time I came here in the mornings for coffee and snacks. Everything was great overall. Special thanks to the nice and accomodating morning staff. Thanks.

Disappointed.
With the re-open It's like a ripoff of an actual Planet Bean.
Friendly staff and it's still PB coffee but I've seen better atmosphere in an ER waiting room. They also don't do refills anymore for in-house large coffees, like they did last year.
