This is always such a fun place to have birthday parties. I went this time to my cousins party, and we had a blast. The free for all was so fun and crazy, we very sweaty after. And for the team mode, it got even more competitive. Going on a Sunday evening was a great idea since it was cheaper too!

My Twins and their friends had the best time here.
We celebrated their bday on the 21st. And the boys had an excellent time.
The premium package for 15 was a great pick and it included 2 ice cream cakes and 3 pizza with a drink for the players.

They must have changed the management here because it’s definitely improved big time. I haven’t been in here in about 2 years and I really had fun tonight. They have a bunch of arcade games in the lobby now too and the staff were very friendly. All in all had a great experience.

This place is a new business in the old west Edmonton laser quest location

Layout:
There are only two arcade games, 1 claw game, 1 Photo Booth and 3 vending machines. The games each cost a loonie (cash only) but you need a credit card for the Photo Booth. The 3 vending machines each cost $3.00 per item and consist of a machine filled with pop, one with water bottles and the last one is filled with chips, chocolate and candy. There is no water filling station or fountain on site.

Party Rooms: there are 3 party rooms which are cramped at best and you order your own food to the business via skip the dishes or similar companies.

The Program:
We went on a Saturday and it appeared the staff had difficultly managing the amount of patrons there. To manage they created games between games causing a chain reaction of waiting longer and longer than booked for and it wasn’t very organized. What was supposed to be back to back games turned into a 15-20 minute wait between them. I wouldn’t have minded so much but there is absolutely no where to sit unless you sit on the floor.

Once you do get registered (self serve) into the bank of computers you aren’t sure where your information is going as the disclaimer didn’t really go all the way down and simply asked you to type yes or no, which I’m certain is strictly for liability from what I could read.

The game itself seems as normal as buying Costco laser guns and hanging out in someone’s low light basement. When I put my vest on both times they weren’t the right number which left me questioning if they cleaned equipment between uses despite each game having 46 (sweaty) players at a time in it.

The staff also seemed untrained and couldn’t figure things out like the megaphone despite using it multiple games in a row. When they did use it no one could understand the rules, how to use the equipment and hopefully what to do in the event of an emergency.

Overall, I didn’t feel like it was worth the money or the time to come to this for such a minimalists experience.

Facilty and games are fun, issue being they allow full grown tryhard adults in the same games as 6 year olds on their birthday party. Completely ruined their time when the adults are literally following groups of young kids shooting them in the back as they walk away. I explained twice that we were simply moving away to another section, tryhard simply continued.

I completely understand there are levels of competitiveness but when you allow adults that deliberately ruin young kids time it’s not a good business model.

Keep this in mind when booking for birthday parties.

Came for my son's birthday on a Wednesday. We were two adults and two children. Because it was Wednesday, we only paid for two of us. It cost $46 after tax. Unfortunately, bottled water was $3 each.

Ruth served us. She was wonderful with our excesively hyper children. Ruth was extremely patient with us. She had a great sense of humour, and I would happily bring my family back here in part due to her service.

Had a kids birthday party here. They were able to add a last minute addition to the group without issue. Party rooms are a good size, and pizza was brought in from Panago. We were on a fairly tight time frame and they were easily able to cater to that timeframe while still giving the kids breaks and they had a blast. There was only 1 person running the whole thing, from running the cash deal to getting everyone into the games. She was friendly, and professional
