A mixture of relaxing and stressful! Had tons of fun painting the mugs. Staff were very friendly and gave us a very helpful painting lesson at the beginning. Nice cool air-conditioning and excellent music choice!

Painted some pieces with a friend a while back - So pleased with how they turned out! The staff are welcoming and knowledgable, The site was organized well filled with lots of options so much so that we’re already planning our next visit. Didn’t get the tryout the bar at the back but hoping to next time. I like the price was all in and clearly labelled on each piece, now to decide what to paint next time! Looking forward to coming back!

This place is a Guelph institution. !!!! It’s been around since I was a kid and now I’m an old man who likes bringing his kids here. I love how it feeds imagination, and it gives you the ability to make a zombie Lawn gnome, Or maybe make a fart dragon. FYI, that’s what I made the last time I was there. Any place that’s willing to let you help at whimsy to the world is all right by me. Go take a night go paint something be creative. I promise it won’t hurt.

I visited a couple of times to paint and enjoy the Clay Bar before taking one of their classes. Both times the service was friendly and we LOVED that they didn't have a time limit so you could keep ordering snacks and really make an evening out of it, especially with the fun music on. Great atmosphere!

I have now taken a 7-week long class here twice and both times I got SO much out of it! It's a really lovely way to have a creative space, enjoy some beverages and snacks and meet new people. Each time the class size was 8 or less, so you really got a sense of who everyone was. It's a nice way to experience both hand-building and on the wheel. I never felt rushed, and Nina brings good laughs to her instruction.

Can't recommend this enough if you're looking for a clay experience in Guelph!

I usually have a good experience when I come here, except today when I passed by to pick up a piece. We came in at 8:30 PM on a Monday to pick up a piece, not knowing that they close at 8 on Mondays (our fault for not checking in advance). The door was open and not locked, so we assumed they were open or just about to close up. We walked in, found our piece, and waited for one of the employees just to confirm we can leave after finding the piece. Suddenly the employee comes in and immediately says “we’re closed, you can’t just walk into a closed establishment”. We apologized and explained how we didn’t know they were closed as the door was open, but then the employee kept going “it’s really inappropriate of you” in a rude tone. Bro, I understand where you’re coming from but you don’t have to be rude about it. If you close at 8, lock the doors at 8. It’s that simple. Don’t be rude to your customers for not having your store hours memorized. I work in customer service too, and in that situation you could’ve just said something along the lines of “hey guys, we actually closed at 8, we can’t accept any customers right now”, instead of berating us! We didn’t even say anything back and just walked away. Staff clearly does not know customer service 101. For context I do not believe in the customer is always right, but there should be some level of respect, considering she was rude to us before we even opened our mouths. Staff is definitely underpaid and dealing with their own personal issues and taking it out on us.

This is a great place. We love it.
They are making many pottery things and events, and we went there for custom foot and handprints of our babies. 😃

We recently had a staff outing to make out own Mugs in The Clay Bar and it was awesome! Best idea for socializing with the team while being creative. The Clay Bar is a great hang out space where you can grab a beer or wine and make something beautiful at the same time. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Happened to walk by the clay bar with my girlfriend so we stopped by to see what it was about. Had an amazing time and glad we did! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere and experience was great! Would definitely recommend for a night out or if you’re looking for something fun to do.
