Absolutely outstanding service from Prairie Moon. I had accidentally booked our room for one night less than we needed, and by the time I realized, we were already two hours away and couldn’t get back right away. Even though they were fully booked, the staff went above and beyond—carefully moving all our belongings to another room so we didn’t lose our stay. The room was spotless, and the whole place was clean and well-kept. The pool and water slide were a huge hit with the kids—such a fun bonus! Truly exceptional hospitality that made our experience stress-free and memorable.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We stayed for two nights, and the experience was extremely disappointing from the start. On the first night, we discovered insects in our room. When we contacted room service, the staff initially dismissed it, but after sending photos to the manager, they admitted there were insects—though they couldn’t confirm if they were bed bugs. I personally believe they were dog ticks or wood insects.

We were relocated to another room at 12:30 a.m., which meant packing up everything and moving with my children in the middle of the night without any real assistance.

The next day, I discovered the fridge in the new room wasn’t working. I follow a specific diet and travel with my own food, so by the time they brought a replacement, much of it had spoiled and had to be thrown away.

These issues were on top of other inconveniences: the hair dryer didn’t work, there weren’t enough towels, and the shower fixtures were rusty.

Overall, this stay was stressful, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. I would strongly advise avoiding this place to save yourself the trouble and frustration.

I've stayed here often. The staff are always kind and courteous. I stayed with a broken ankle and one staff member even washed/folded my personal laundry. I am forever grateful for their kindness. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in sylvan lake

Had such a fun stay here with my girlfriends! The hotel was welcoming, the vibe was great, and the beds were super comfortable, perfect for a girls’ trip!

The hotel staff is friendly and professional. This hotel is very clean and has decent amenities. DO NOT STAY IN KING SUITE 207 IF YOU WANT TO SLEEP THOUGH!!!

All you can hear until midnight and from 6am forward is someone opening and closing drawers down below us on the main floor. It was so loud it sounded like someone moving a desk half the night back and forth across the room..

Im an avid traveler but sadly I don't think I'll be back to this location due to this alone. A very long trip on minimal sleep isn't overly safe.

The family room was great for us as a larger family. The pool and slide were winners for the kids and the hot tub was dialed in for us adults. The only minus is that the included breakfast is more to the waffles, breads, and cereals, no proteins or hot entrees. It can get very busy here as it is very popular with families.

The location is awesome, you are literally a block from anything you need. All the stores and food services are around you.
