Découverte beau déjeuner
Pain doré confiture aux petit fruits et vrai crème fouetté maison café à volonté sur le bord de l'eau terrasse extérieur. Ce resto fait parti de l'hôtel Prestige ! Belle vue montagne et nord de l'eau.Belle endroit pour marcher bord de l'eau beaucoup d'oiseaux à découvrir. Bienvenue à Salmon Arm en Colombie Britannique ! Vraiment belle place à visiter au Canada !

Wow. I was not expecting how much me and my family would love this resort! And it truly is a resort more than a hotel — the amenities were exceptional, including a huge state of the art gym, and indoor/outdoor pool & hot tub, really great pub, cafe, & restaurant. The rooms are huge & we had a kitchen & balcony, which we enjoyed. It sits on a bird sanctuary wetland & right next to a gorgeous park with long boardwalk & a sweet little ice cream shop at the end (with a lovely lady who made my daughter a homemade sorbet). The staff at the front desk were very nice & accommodating. Our servers at all of the restaurants went above & beyond. We all sat outside on the loungers on the grass relaxing, reading & watching the sunset. We decided that every time we travel from Calgary to anywhere west we will be making a special stop here again to see if we can recreate the magic of this stay.

(I should say that the only issue we had was a very rude woman working at the spa (with glasses & lip ring), who was quite rude & dismissive both times we went to ask if there was any availability, but it didn’t take away from our stay here at all as everyone else was so great.)

This hotel is lovely, more on the experience side but not too bad. We had a lovely room on the 4th floor, beautiful scenery. The bed was very nice, we both had a wonderful sleep.. step in shower was excellent.. water pressure was just right! Everything was clean and we liked the fact that all the supplies, ie .. coffee pot, cups were in a cupboard out of the way, so there was plenty of dresser space. Would recommend this hotel for sure and would stay again. Dining on the deck was pleasant, the pond with the water spray was nice .. dinner was delicious as was breakfast (both are not included in the price of the room) all staff were excellent!

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the thoughtful room upgrade Rhea arranged for our anniversary. The room was absolutely beautiful, and the view was nothing short of incredible — the perfect setting for a special celebration. Warning: hotel for families only. If you’re coming with kids it’ll be great. If not, stay somewhere else. Super noisy even inside the room and the hotel pool is small and flooded with kids.
We tried both restaurants and the 1409 we did a take out. We got soup and they didn’t have spoons for it and didn’t offer to have us take real spoons. On the positive the beds were comfortable, the view of the lake is nice from the balcony, and they have Ebikes, bikes, paddle boards to rent for free.

Absolutely a mixed review.
If you go to this "resort" hotel, be sure to get a lake-view room. (5 stars if you do. 2-3 stars if you don't).
The rooms are adequate - comfortable and clean, but could really use some TLC for things like the caulking around the tubs and the amenities in the room. Our room had a fridge that didn't work at all, and if we'd only been there one night, I'm sure the next people would have said the same thing.
Check-in was a bit of a gong show. The main entrance has the check in desk right in the path of the doors where people have to haul their luggage in, creating a traffic jam.
Check-in was unnecessarily slow, and not super friendly (2 stars actually).
The slowest elevators in the world. (1 star).
The view is good if you aren't situated on top of the pool roof.
The breakfast restaurant doesn't open until 7:30 AM. It has been renovated and is a nice bright place with friendly service. Angelie (spelling?) was awesomely friendly. The food was tasty but ours was very cold. (3 stars but could have been 4).
The event was attended was nice, with a good event room. Food was fresh and hot. (5 stars).
Overall, the experience was fine, but this is not a 5-star hotel.
