We had an amazing experience at Prestige Prince George Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Our family room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for our group with plenty of space to relax and unwind after a long day.

One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was generous, fresh, and well-stocked every morning. There were plenty of options for both kids and adults, and the breakfast area was clean and well-organized. It truly added so much value to our stay.

This hotel checked all the boxes for us—great service, excellent amenities, and a family-friendly atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we’re in Prince George. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at this hotel with my mother who was visiting us from India, and we had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel welcome and at ease. They were kind, patient, and always ready to assist, which meant a lot—especially since it was my mother’s first time visiting this country.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities Breakfast was lovely, with a variety of options that suited both our tastes.

From the get go, the lodge had such a warm welcoming atmosphere. Staff are really friendly! Breakfast was amazing with a great variety: waffles, oatmeal, bagels of different kinds, breads of different kinds, eggs, sausages or bacon, yogurt, 4 different kinds of juices and coffee or tea options. They have a little swimming pool and a hot tub area so make sure you pack your swimwear.

Especially, we casually mentioned our anniversary and the staff made a beautiful arrangement for us in our room when we came to stay another day.

We will definitely come back when we visit friends and family in PG <3

Very expensive for what you're getting. Ice machine on first floor was broken wanted me to go up a floor cash machine as well but they didnt have a back up.There was more issues than I'd like to mention. I feel as if your trying to charge a premium for staying there. Things could be done all lot better.

Breakfast for continental was one of the weakest I've ever seen. Everything was out of stock or expired. NONE of ALL the stuff they advertised as a complimentary breakfast was included ( waffles sausages eggs) myself and my other two parties staying there can attest to this.

As we where getting ready to leave a manager was prentending to get more stuff ready they put one cup of mixed waffle batter in the dispenser at 6:30 am and the kids where very upset only. One waffle came out and staff was no where to be seen. All though I will give it to them they did have some stale cereal.

Why advertise that if you don't offer? Was disappointed to say the least. Even all the fruit was bruised beyond recognition. For 200 a night you can definitely do better.

*Edited to reflect the kind response from management.

Little travel tip -Next door charges about 89$ a night and offer a much better service. You can take the money you saved and have a nice hot breakfast at the little restaurant beside it and still have saved a substantial amount.

Definitely the nicest room we have ever stayed at. We had stayed at another Prestige and were so impressed we looked for another location while traveling and we were not disappointed! Great experience all around.

Very disappointed that after being open a year they have overlooked the small things.
Bathroom door had a gouge in it casing needed painting..marks on the wall from previous things.
ATM and ice machine not working and No paper info in rooms ie TV instructions channels etc.
Not everyone has a cell phone to scan a QR code. Good breakfast .
In general nothing extra.. beds were way to soft for our liking

OK ROOMS — AMENITIES NEED MAINTENANCE. YOU MAY SLEEP GREAT, OR YOU MAY NOT.

IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS..

Room was …fine. Bed was comfy. Would have been nice to enjoy it without being woken up after 5 hours’ sleep by the fire alarm because their kitchen staff burned something.
Also would’ve been nice to have a dishwasher along with the kitchen. Or spoons that weren’t enormous. Or shades that completely blocked the outside lights. Or windows that were better at blocking outside sounds.

Complementary Breakfast is like 6-9 AM, which was ..ok I guess, but after being woken up and made to stand in the “brisk morning air” because of the fire alarm caused by their cooking it, I wanted to go back to sleep, so I missed it.

Our shower curtain rod was pulling out of the wall, and wouldn’t close all the way. So lots of water on the floor.

ATM, ice machine, and all vending machines on our floor were out of order.

Hotel staff also doesn’t seem to notice when someone needs help getting into the door, which also brings down my assessment of this particular lodge.

For my own family, this hotel failed every metric. None of us got a full night’s rest, eating in the room was unnecessarily difficult, taking a shower makes a mess, and whatever morning desk staff were on duty seemed to be in their own little world.

EDIT: To add insult to injury, when I found the basically unmarked level 2 EV chargers in the morning and tried plugging my car in, my car detected an “issue with the external charger,” and wouldn’t charge.

I think 3 stars is generous for our experience, but your stay might be far better than ours…

Personally, I’ve got an 8-9 hour drive ahead of me that I now get to do on not enough sleep, specifically due to the bad experience we’ve had here.

Your mileage may vary.

Great hotel, stoopid price. Worth it though. Awesome hot breakfast, nice pool and hot tub, although both a little on the cool side. Beds were comfy. Room Was quiet, even though the highway is right there. Plenty of parking, and it's far enough away from downtown PG that the druggies don't come there.
