I had a facial with Angelina today. Due to my skincare routine, my skin was too dry and it was hard for a regular technician to extract my closed comedones, so the manager recommended Angelina to me. I booked a facial here last minute before and didn’t book a consultation before the facial so I wasn’t satisfied with the treatment I thought it worked for my skin. It was more of my fault. You all should get a consultation. This time, the facial went great with proper aftercare guidance. Angelina is highly knowledgeable, she pointed out the problem of my skin from the get go. I can tell she is very experienced in this. Customer service is absolutely amazing, Gina, the manager, she followed up after the facial to check if my skin is doing alright. I also bought some skincare products at the store the last visit and this time as well. They are definitely worth it ! They really worked for my closed comedones. Will come back for another facial when I get a chance !

I recently visited for an Aquabrasion facial and wanted to share some honest feedback. While I had high hopes for the treatment, I was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. The space itself didn’t quite meet the expectations I had for the price point-treatment rooms felt a little tight, and my session was frequently interrupted as the aesthetician stepped in and out to bring equipment, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere.

Post-treatment, my skin felt flakier than before and unfortunately, I started to break out the following day. I also think a bit more communication would have improved the experience. I wasn’t informed about what steps were being taken during the facial—like extractions—so a quick heads-up would’ve made me feel more comfortable and prepared. Lastly, I felt the skincare sales were a touch on the pushy side.

I do believe with a few adjustments, the experience could be much more enjoyable. Clearer communication during treatments and a more seamless setup in the rooms would go a long way.

Update:

I had initially left some feedback about my first visit, and I really appreciated how the owner, Gina, reached out and genuinely took the time to address my concerns. She offered me a complimentary facial to make things right, which I thought was a kind gesture and showed they care about their clients’ experiences.

On my second visit, I saw Negar, who was incredibly accommodating and attentive. She took the time to understand my skin concerns and explain what would work best for my skin type, which made me feel much more comfortable.

Really appreciate the thoughtful follow-up and great service the second time around.

Pure & simple is the only place I go for facials in the world! They are the absolute best! I only see Negar because she is without a doubt the best in the business! I have sent my sisters and friends to her too! She is truly an expert at what she does and I always look forward to catching up with her! The pure and simple products are also amazing and I use them at home all the time too!

Received a facial treatment for the first time and the experience was truly invigorating. The entire process was very relaxing and my skin (which is very acne prone and red) looked more calm after.

The staff is also very knowledgeable and can help you find the product you need. Overall, I had a wonderful visit!

I have sensitive, dehydrated acne prone skin and my skin has not been great. I booked a facial and Mitsumi attended to me! She was so careful and knowledgeable and the entire experience was very smooth and nice! I left having visibly less bumpy skin and she opted not to pop the deep red ones which was a good decision because after the facial, the purging eventually brought it out without any extractions. The whole facial was gentle and hydrating. I definitely left feeling much lighter and happier! Thank you Mitsumi 🥹🙏🥰

Got the facial while I was on vacation and it was such a treat! I was greeted with their tea of the day to warm me up from the chilly wind. Their staffs were welcoming and friendly. Most of all, Anna, the esthetician who performed my facial, was awesome. I just wanted a facial but didn't know which one would be good for me so she did a skin analysis and recommended a couple of options. I went with the glass skin facial with the aquabrasion add on. She reassured me that my skin won't be red after or the products used will be very gentle and she was right. I didn't feel a thing and fell asleep multiple times!

I especially liked how she walked me through what she was doing and patiently answered all my questions.

My skin felt so smooth and glowy after I was ready to continue my day after with no downtime. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Toronto!
