I’ve stayed at multiple hotels in Lethbridge, many of which were disappointing, but by chance, I stumbled across the Quality Inn—and what a gem it is! The manager and her incredible team member at the front desk were absolutely phenomenal. Whoever owns this hotel should be proud to have such dedicated, hard-working people representing them.

The suites were the cleanest I’ve ever seen, and the amenities were top-notch. The breakfast was more than satisfying, especially considering the reasonable price. Everything about my stay exceeded my expectations, from the cleanliness to the service. It’s now my go-to hotel, and I’ll be recommending it to my college as well. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Highly recommend!

Let’s break it down to: 1. Room, 2. Hotel & Amenities, and 3. Location

1. Room:
The room and carpet are old but that’s not a problem. Lack of proper cleaning IS. There was dried pee on the toilet seat that’s been there a while and the light fixture on the ceiling was full of dead bugs. Since we’re staying in late November, I know they’ve been there a while. The tissue box was also empty. Microwave and fridge in room good. Small TV, bad.

2. Facility:

People were friendly except for the lady trying to shut off the waterslide when she was looking right at our 8yr old child at the pool. Why do you think we picked this hotel in the first place lady? He used it once and she asked if we were done now… NO, we’re done when we leave (7:00pm ish, not very late) and she should not feel put out because we want to use a main attraction of this hotel! The railings getting in to the pool and hot tub are all loose and need service.

The ‘exercise’ room is tiny and inside the pool area with a decent treadmill and a rickety elliptical trainer that rocks back and forth if you use it. No floor space.

Breakfast is sausage, scrambled eggs, and hash brown potatoes. With waffles. No bacon.

Location: There is a train nearby that toots its horn frequently. Not good if you are a light sleeper.

I’ll start this off with saying the front desk agent was extremely friendly. He found us a last minute room and got us keys in an extremely timely manner 10/10. The room itself is a solid 0/10. The room (as my partner described it) “feels like we are in the only motel within 200 miles of us in the middle of the mountains” the rooms are extremely dated (didn’t think I would see yellow wall paper in 2024), the tv (yea yea stupid thing to complain about I know but for $140 a night come on) is a solid 32 inch lcd from 2010, the beds are rock hard and have permanent indents from over a decade of abuse, the bathroom is filthy (there is literally thick dark hairs stuck to the floor as well as the bathtub along with dirt basically everywhere) it’s very apparent that this hotel hasn’t had a proper renovation (if any) since it was first opened. The stay was awful, the sleep was awful but my god were the staff friendly. Seriously 10/10 to the staff. I really hope they find a better hotel to work in because they deserve it. At the end of the day it’s a cheap hotel but come on guys seriously? Dirty rooms, 15+ year old furnishings and beds for $140 a night For $10 more we would have gone next door to the newly renovated hotels but unfortunately I trusted the google trip finder thing instead of my own gut.

Good hotel to keep out of the cold, but not friendly to Casino Volunteers. Consider other options then here. Not welcome or familiar with Volunteers hours working till 430 am. Definitely don't accommodate late check outs. Front desk isn't useful. Appears alot of the review here are made by staff or management. Go to 1 stars for accurate reviews.

Wonderful service from all the staff I interacted with. Fun water slide too.
Imperial China and El Greco Cuisine are both good restaurants within walking distance, and a few gas stations for late night snacks or quick fuel to hit the road in the morning.

This Quality Inn has to be the best place to stay when visiting Lethbridge Alberta!
The best in customer service from management, front desk, and cleaning staff.
The best in price value.
This review is way over due as I have been coming to this place for the past 20 years, 4 to 5 times a year.
I will NOT stay anywhere else while in Lethbridge Alberta.
I trust them blindly!

If you want to see the real reviews with real responses from this hotel, please filter and read the 1 star reviews BEFORE booking here. You'll see exactly the level of service to expect from front desk staff. (probably management also)
Also, they actually seem to discriminate people who book online, so if you really must stay here, call them to book and you may get better service.

House keeping staff we spoke to were friendly and tried to be helpful, but seems front desk people can override anything the housekeeping staff may offer to make your stay better.
This hotel offers a discounted rate for non-profit clubs who are working the casino events next door. If you have ever worked a casino you will know that you generally dont finish you shift until after 4am. The woman at the desk during check in told me they do not offer late check outs unless approved the morning of? (makes zero sense to wake up to ask to sleep in) but ok. Then in the same conversation she literally said we don't like to offer that service to you casino people because you never stay past 10 anyways. She seems to have an issue with "casino" people in particular, as she was more than happy to let us know the day before my stay they kindly provided early check in for a whole team that arrived 4 hours before check in, but made sure the casino people followed their ever changing set of rules and were basically removed from their room at 11.
Each person we were told to ask about the check in / out rules passed it on the to the person. I've never had to speak to so many people about a simple thing. 4 people! Like maybe the first lady should have just said no, we dont do late check out. Dont keep asking me to waste my time begging different staff for an extra half hour in my room when I full on knew they were going to say no.
Also, just putting this out there. The reply from the hotel will probably say they checked for my reservation and I wasn't actually a registered guest, so basically I'm a liar. I noticed she said that in response to many of the other 1 start reviews, seems to be her work around for not having to deal with any of the problems.
(My room was booked online, by our club host, so it was under his name, and my husbands name.)
All said and done, we did stop at the desk at checkout so we could speak to front desk lady and not just sneak out and leave a bad review. She listened to our concerns but offered no apology or anything. Not that I expected anything helpful from them. Just muttered something under her breath as we walked away.
There are 5 or 6 other hotels in this area, please choose one of those.
