Excellent choice for us including our dog Kira. Bed was amazing and the free breakfast was Excellent. Staff was very friendly and although we never used the pool or fitness room they looked clean and would use if need arose. My only gripe with almost all hotels is the lack of a removable shower head and very rarely do I find one. Lol

We stayed here for a hockey tournament. The best hotel we have ever stayed at. They were so accommodating to the kids. They have a game room which was great for everyone to hang out. The pool was great. Staff was amazing. They had our team all on one level. Highly recommend for hockey teams.

I don't normally write reviews, however, I travel a lot and I have to say that this is one of my most favorite hotels ever! My family and I chose to stay here instead of in Calgary on our route, and booked 3 rooms.

I travel with two dogs, and the setting here is perfect and we felt very safe throughout our stay. There's a beautiful fenced-in dog park and walking trail directly in front of the hotel, so even when you're not using it, you get to enjoy the sight of happy dogs!

Parking was lovely, being able to park right beside my room thanks to the outside door, is always a bonus. This feature made everything incredibly convenient and relaxing. The rooms were clean and modern, and the staff were really friendly. We travel with a cooler and often carry frozen dog food and ice packs. The staff were generous enough to offer to store our ice packs in their freezer overnight, while we used the large fridge in our room to keep everything else cool.

The little kitchenette in every room was really nice, (love hotels that come standard with this). My in-laws had a comfortable nights rest and my sister especially loved the hot tub area. This hotel has it all. Definitely a must-stay! Thank you!!

Would be a nice hotel if they managed to take care of the one and only thing actually important at a hotel besides having a bed and shower. - Cleaning the rooms!
We have been staying at this hotel for 5 days and have not had room service more than once, some not at all. We have asked them to take care of this everyday, as we obviously get no new towels or anything but nothing is being done. Quite frankly a joke. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

Ramada did an excellent job with their renovation. The hotel is modern, clean, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff keeps everything well-maintained, and the breakfast was delicious. Our two-queen room had everything we needed: a mini dining table, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils, dish soap, dish rack, and even a portable electric stove.

The hotel itself is great, and honestly this could’ve been my favourite hotel, but unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff, especially Christine, left a lasting negative impression.

UPDATE: The trouble started the day before checkout. My son and his teammate went to the front desk to check in while I was still on my way there, and Christine loudly announced that the credit card was declined—embarrassing him in front of the entire team. She left them standing there awkwardly and just said “NEXT!” without even attempting to call me or explain that she would assist them after the rush. After three attempts to reach her, I was able to ask her to help my son. I explained that my son was right there and asked her not to hang up on us again. Only after falling to the back of the line did she agree to help.

The next day, I requested a late checkout online, which was rejected, despite rooms being available (I have screenshots to prove it). Christine claimed the hotel was full and refused my request. Even though the team had been approved for an extra 45 minutes, she initially denied me that as well. Only after our team manager intervened did she change her tone and allow the late checkout.

We ended up leaving at 11:15 AM, as I had a feeling Christine would somehow charge us extra for staying beyond the regular checkout time. Sure enough, I was charged more than the other parents. I paid $40 more per room, even though I booked two rooms—one for my family and one for my son and his teammate. My son’s teammate’s mom was surprised at the price difference and pointed out that she paid $40 on her invoice. We booked this stay back in November with the team.

Additionally, my personal information—full name(everyone only knows me by my nickname), full address, phone number(this was not shared on our team app, it was hidden by choice), and email—was shared with other guests without my permission. When I asked Christine how she would handle the breach of privacy, she said she’d contact the parents involved. I told her that wouldn’t change anything, but she ignored me and went ahead, causing unnecessary tension. The parents were upset and were told to return my invoice, making it appear as though I had instructed Christine to reach out, which I had not. The invoice was never returned to me.

Christine’s rude and dismissive attitude compounded the frustration. She hung up on me several times without explanation, never apologized, and treated us with blunt indifference. Even simple things like explaining how to our teens how to keep the lights on in the room were overlooked.

It’s incredibly frustrating when someone in a position of authority abuses their power. Christine made a stressful situation worse with her rude behavior. My son and his teammate, both teenagers, were so treated poorly. I left feeling disrespected, and unfortunately, her actions overshadowed an otherwise lovely stay.

Amazing cleaning staff, great breakfast attendant, great management (Keely?) our team manager said Christine also gave her a hard time but the manager (Keely) was so amazing and helpful. Just poor front desk staff/etiquette.

I explained to her that she didn’t need to choose to be angry the whole entire time, that things could’ve been handled professionally and politely. But with her terrible attitude and vindictive behaviour caused an error to release my private info which is not only wrong, but illegal.

I have proof of the convo if Christine would like to say otherwise how the experience went for me.

Christine’s actions do not reflect the standards of the Wyndham brand! The hotel itself is wonderful, but this experience has left me deeply disappointed and lost trust.

We booked 20 rooms for our daughter’s wedding in Cochrane last weekend. We couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and the service! All our friends and family commented on how beautiful the hotel was, how clean and new the rooms were, the impressive breakfast buffet, the pool and the games room area. We fully enjoyed all the amenities the hotel had to offer and were very pleased with all of it.
