If I could give them 0 stars I would, but in order to post a review I had to give them one.
I made an appointment on Tuesday for my friend & myself for nails & toes. We walked in and IMMEDIATELY noticed other customers sitting and waiting in pedi chairs as they were seating and starting on us after having JUST walked in. I found the atmosphere very unprofessional and fast paced, but just figured they wanted to get as many people through in a day as it’s close to Christmas. They had started doing my nails (I actually asked for acrylic and they did dip instead) and halfway through told me to sit in a pedi chair, and tried to do both at the same time. Working multiple services at one on both my friend and myself. Working this quickly was an invitation for accidents and mistakes, and in the process of trying to work too quickly, the lady (who I assume was the owner) dropped and spilled the dip nail glue all over one of my brand new Uggs. She initially ignored it and pushed my Uggs closer to underneath the chair, and threw my purse into the pedi chair next to me. I asked her if I could see my purse to see if any had gotten inside and she told me no, and that nothing had spilled in there. I was shocked and asked again to see my purse, she then gave it to me & I confirmed it was okay. HOWEVER, I looked down at my shoe and gasped and told her the glue was all over my shoe. She then told me “No that’s just the design” I immediately said no, that is absolutely a stain on my shoe. The proceeded to try and shove my shoe into the pedi tub that my feet were in a panic effort to try and clean it, and then decided to wet a cotton ball with acetone to clean it. At this point I had completely accepted the state of my Uggs as nail glue is very unforgiving with fabric, especially on Uggs. I looked to my friend and whipered that it was just shoes and that i’d talk to them at the end. Halfway through my appointment, she went to the back and cane out with a paid of pink plastic flipflops that were massive and told me they were expensive and that she would replace my Uggs with those. I graciously and politely said “I'd rather figure something out to pay for new Uggs. IMMEDIATELY she got defensive and told me “Why should I pay, it was an accident” "I only ruined one" I told her that my shoes were brand new and expensive. She then said “I know I have Uggs, and pointed to hers at the front door” She then said “Fine i’ll pay for new ones, you leave those ones here” None of what she was saying in this conversation was happening quietly either, so the whole salon was tracking what was happening. I started to cry because I was overwhelmed and embarrassed at how she was yelling and carrying on. I wasn't even that sad about my shoes at this point. I told her I wasn’t leaving my shoes as I wasn’t going home barefoot. She, more frustrated told me she was nice & offered me sandals, and I told her it was the middle of December. She continues to yell about how I should have taken my shoes off at the door and I told her that the lady at the desk didn’t tell me that, plus I was barefoot in my Ugg slippers and didn’t want to walk in her salon with barefeet. She stomped up to the front and whipped her hand at the sign that she posted (lower on the front desk) saying to remove shoes and yelled “no one ever listens to the sign” I then said I just wanted this to be over & I wanted to leave. She stopped doing my nails, told me not to pay and to leave and never come back. She was completely unapologetic, and not once said she was sorry.
I have truly NEVER been to an establishment that was run this way, and I have also never been treated this way by someone at a nail salon. I have seen and heard other awful reviews about this his establishment and I would never recommend to anyone coming here. the services on my nails weren’t ever worth what I would have had to spend and she not told me to leave and never come back. Please PLEASE save yourself the time & money and go somewhere else.
Attached are photos of my nails, & shoes that I had to replace after this event.
