We tried Canadian poutine for the first time. It was nice. It reminded me of chili cheese fries. Our server, Marg, was fantastic. We enjoyed the food and feel of the restaurant. The added bonus was that kids eat free on Tuesdays.

I was waffling between two difficult choices. I had the craving for waffles but I also wanted hashbrowns, so I asked MJ about if it was a better deal to add hashbrowns to the chicken waffles, or add a pancake (which isn’t a waffle) to the breakfast bowl, and instead, she asked me what exactly I was felling, and if it was a bit of savoury and a bit of sweet.
I said yes and she recommend I go with the breakfast platter instead, which I missed on the menu.

Oh boy. It was AMAZING.

Was super thankful for MJ’s stellar recommendation and it definitely hit the spot. Great meal, great service.

Well, you better be hungry. It's such a great breakfast. Everything on my plate was great. It took a bit, but I got my plate empty. Oh, the coffee was great too and great service, like always 🙂

Met friends for dinner on Monday. We all enjoyed our experience there. Food was great and reasonably priced. I was especially pleased with our waitress, Sally. She was funny, accommodating and friendly. She made the difference between a good visit and a memorable one. Way to go, Sally. You're a natural.

Can’t believe we hadn’t tried this great little small business before now. The menu is exactly the right size for each item to get the attention it deserves, and focuses on traditional diner dishes like breakfast and burgers. The tomato basil soup is great, and even better paired with the incredible Parmesan crusted 4 cheese grilled cheese!
Omelettes are perfectly cooked, with hash browns fancied up with onion and peppers. Love the sourdough bread! Our server Miranda was an absolute delight.

Great experience here, the chicken strips were really good. I really appreciate good service and MJ was awesome!! She had recommendations for my daughter and was very friendly and professional. Also love when servers know you need a refill and you don’t have to ask!

Recently visited Ricky’s Country Restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was fantastic—our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was also a highlight, offering a cozy and welcoming environment that made for an enjoyable dining experience.

However, I must mention that the food was a bit of a letdown. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and few other things but unfortunately, the sandwich was quite bland and lacking in flavor. Despite this, other aspects of the meal were satisfactory.

In summary, Ricky’s is a great spot for a relaxed meal with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. While the chicken sandwich didn’t impress, I’m looking forward to trying other items on the menu on my next visit.
