This was a real find for our hiking group! Four couples stayed in rooms and the fifth couple were able to camp in their RV on the property. Rooms were really nice, roomy, comfortable and well appointed! The breakfast provided as part of the package was delicious. Todd and Jaxy made our stay very comfortable with lots of nice touches. And of course, the property is gorgeous with the river right behind. Look forward to booking again soon!

What a wonderful experience we had. It's hard to explain the detail and love that went into the creation of this beautiful retreat.

We instantly felt welcomed on our arrival. The room was gorgeous and well appointed. The view was outstanding. When you stood back and looked towards the main window it felt like you were looking at a painting.

It was our 10th anniversary and I don't think we could have found a better location to celebrate it.

Do yourself a favor and book your own experience here. Be sure to have supper because the food is mouth watering. Breakfast was one the of the best we ever had. Nothing like home cooking to start your day.

Time to start planning our next visit.

Spent the weekend up at River Retreat for a girls weekend away. Todd and Jaxy Are amazing hosts and did an incredible job renovating this B&B. It’s right on the river so you can relax listening to the water rush by. As well as the bathroom and amenities are top-notch. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend this place for your next getaway.

Amazing Place to relax , best place to stay and the owner was on top of everything. Nothing beats the mountain view, best place to escape the city life. rooms are clean and staff are accommodating . Highly recommended .

Just got home from a fantastic weekend here. Beautiful place both inside and out. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. The hosts Jaxy and Todd were wonderful and took great care of us.
We'll definitely be going back!

When our original trip went sideways due to the fire situation (sadly) in BC, we had to pivot. And, we ended up here. A group of 7 women we were, spending 3 lovely days and nights. We had the best time, with the best hosts, who shared the best amenities and delightful culinary experiences. Details mattered to our group and we were impressed! High quality bedding, amazing bathrooms with surprise perks, excellent food and service, and the best outdoor living room experience you could wish for. The river!
And, you have a variety of ways to stay on the site. We were in their retreat rooms, and there are also glamping options too. For those near Calgary and farther afield, (like us), this is a fantastic place to retreat...whether a couple, (one of whom we met, celebrating their 52nd anniversary), to a group of Mamas and caregivers (like us) looking for some rest and relaxation. This was the best pivot we could have asked for. Better outcome then we had originally hoped for. Thank you, Jaxy and Todd.
