I love this spot, we were a party of 8 out for a family Sturgeon fishing trip, it was less then a 10 minute beautiful walk to the vedder river where we found a nice place to but our feet in the water. There is a great outdoor suiting area with a fire pit our hosts were so kind!!! We love the cozy, comfy home away from home atmosphere.

Great location, convenient to the river, perfect as we were fishing for two weeks. Hosts Jess and Jay welcoming and very friendly, they helped us with everything we asked for. We visited in October and welcomed a red hot fire which helped to warm us and dry our fishing gear.

We are seniors and were with our family members, who were camping at the Vedder River Campground, a very pleasant 15 minute drive away. When my wife and I entered the cottage, it seemed to be homey, with a woman's touch in the way it was arranged and decorated. There was a large king size bed and it was really comfortable. Everything we needed was right there- great kitchenette, microwave, frig, dishes, and lots of extras - little things like a big jar of candies, some supplies of things you might forget to bring, |Jessica, one of the owners was friendly and most pleasant to deal with. |each morning, we enjoyed a great continental style breakfast with a very generous helping of fresh fruits, yogurt, fresh muffin. There was a coffee maker with lots of coffee and a kettle. Just past where the B&B is located, there is a wide open area by the river and you can see two very large mountains. There was a good sized table, and the one room cabin was quite spacious, and we had a private bathroom. It was very quiet at night. Everything was clean and well looked after. There was a large parking area and we could leave our car right outside the door. There was a table outside the living room in the yard that we could use. |It was hot outdoors and at the time we were there, the air was quite smoky, so we stayed indoors a lot. We really felt at home.

We had a comfortable, pleasant stay in a beautiful area near trees and parks. Because we were the only ones there (the basement had two or three other rooms and a shared common area), it was quiet and we had a lot of privacy.||There was a well outfitted kitchenette in the common area but strangely, no sink—at least none that we could find.||Dogs are allowed as long as they don’t get on the furniture—a very reasonable request.

Booked this place to try something new and away from the downtown and the regular hotel scene and we were so glad we did! It’s an excellent place to get away from the traffic. Peaceful and cozy place to stay that has beautiful surroundings to go for a nice evening stroll. The owners were extremely friendly and awesome to chat with. Loved the cabin, decor was great, place was well kept and clean. We should have asked for more towels but it wasn’t too much of a problem. Might also consider bringing a fluffy pillow if that’s your style. |Very cozy, quiet, secure, excellent place to stay. Well priced. We will definitely be staying here again for any other coastal trips.

Awesome short stay! The cabin was super clean, had everything you might need to make the stay feel like home, plus a big comfy bed. We brought our toddler and he enjoyed it as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating, and the space felt nice and private. Not a far drive from cultus lake or groceries. Would definitely stay again!

My husband, I booked this fantastic B&B for the first time in August 2012 because they allowed dogs and that was one of the best travelling decisions we have made.

Our cabin was comfortable, perfect, warm and cozy. Meeting Jessica, Jay and Chase was a big bonus to the trip, they are such a beautiful family that we now call our friends.

The surrounding area and river is beautiful for walks, hiking, fishing or just relaxing if that is what you want to do.

We returned in the summer of August 2013, my Dad was also able to visit us and he really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and relaxed on the deck in the lawn chair.

We are hoping to be back this August.

We stayed with Jay and Jessica while we were passing through Chilliwack and are so glad we did. Jay gave great advise about pools to fish on the Vedder (if you are into fishing, you need to stay here - it’s a short drive to the hatchery and you can walk to some of the higher pools on the Vedder and be on the river in 5 minutes.)||||Communication was great. I extended the stay 3 times as we enjoyed the place so much and Jessica was more than happy to do so.||||We stayed in the Cabin which is a lovely, studio style setup and has everything one would need.||||If you are looking for a place in Chilliwack, stay here!
