Excellent. Host was fantastic. Garden area beautiful. Bedroom bathroom etc. Was fantastic. Lots of towels soap, shampoo etc. Safe area. Very impressive. Would 100% go back again.

Wonderful home to stay at. Room is large, comfortable and clean. It has access to the back garden where there are lovely areas to sit and relax in sun or shade. Host is very friendly and helpful in giving ideas for restaurants and directions. Excellent location for getting to ferry terminals too. Continental breakfast and coffee - we declined cooked eggs but could have had that. Coffee great. Fridge and microwave available but we didn’t use it. Highly recommend this B and B.

We stayed two nights in Rockwood House B&B while visiting our sons in Nanaimo. Pricilla and Doug were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Our room was extremely clean, well appointed and tastefully decorated. The two queen beds were very comfortable and the room itself was nice and quiet. There was a private bathroom, fridge and coffee maker for our use. There was also a flat screen TV but we were out and about so didn't use it. Breakfast was yummy and included fresh fruit, baked goods, hot foods, coffee and juice which my hubby enjoyed. I have specific dietary restrictions and Pricilla kindly accommodated my needs. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.

My husband and I went to Nanaimo for holiday and to meet our daughter from Vancouver there. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and every little thing a guest could want was provided. The second bedroom is only rented to family members so we had complete privacy. We stayed for three nights and four fabulous breakfasts - forget about dieting! I forgot to bring my own pillow and was relieved to discover the beds and pillows were comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping. The hosts, Doug and Priscilla, were friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for things to see and do on the island. I am already planning a trip there next summer.

My daughter and I stayed at Rockwood House for 3 nights while visiting Nanaimo. Our hosts were so wonderful, accommodating and truly spoiled us while we stayed with them! They gave us ideas of activities to do and places to see and wonderful conversation all the while! The breakfasts were fantastic and the beds were super comfortable! You will be blessed beyond belief by staying at the Rockwood House!

I was surprised by how spacious the room was. The pictures do not accurately convey how spacious and open the bed room area is. Probably one of the most spacious B and B bedrooms I have seen. Kudos to the host for the layout. You essentially have the enter lower level to yourself and there is a door at the base of the stairs for privacy. The lower level includes the bedroom area, separate bathroom, plus mini fridge in the hall way. A coffee maker in the room which is a plus. We did not have much time to visit during our short one night stay, but our hosts were friendly and welcoming. It was a short 11 minute trip to the Depature Bay for our Ferry from the house. Nice centralized location.

I came to Nanaimo, BC to spend time with my daughter so I booked Rockwood House B&B. The room was lovely and spacious! The beds were divine!! We decided to have breakfast every morning and it was thoroughly enjoyed! The hosts were so friendly. When I go back to visit, I definitely will check to see if Rockwood House is available.

Rockwood House not only has comfortable beds, clean accommodations, and delicious food but they also have extraordinary hospitality. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended if you are hoping to have a wonderful experience on Vancouver Island.
