Our tea experience was okay. We’ve had tea at the Ritz in London so the comparison may or may not be fair. The food bites were simply okay. Nothing to rave about or be left mesmerized by. The tea was good, but because it was served in ceramic teapots it quickly lost its heat so our tea became room temperature within a few minutes. I think the views and company were the best part of the experience. Wish I could rate this higher but in my own experience and opinion it was just basic for the price.

Views are stunning, service was impeccable, Angelica was the sweetest server, 10 stars for her! So grateful for our experience and the yummy food. The scones and tea are perfect!

Well, it's expensive “high tea” for a NOT “high tea” experience. Beautiful view, but it's not worth paying C$100 for one tea option (a big pot that cools off fast) and 11 canapes (6 savoury and 5 sweet). I called them canapes because they were small. So, plain flavour for the savoury ones. It feels like the canapes were sitting in the back of the chicken, and they bring it to us. Unseasoned and tasted not fresh. As much as I love their brunch, I do NOT recommend the high tea experience - food speaking, not location and ambience.

Got the high tea option on their menu. There was an assortment of savoury and sweet treats along with your choice of tea. I really like the egg salad sandwich and the smoked salmon. Some of the sweet deserts was a bit dry but overall service was great and view was great.

“A Must Do Experience” after 47 years of living in Canada, my husband and I got our first taste of the Fairmont Banff Springs High Tea. The Canadian Afternoon Tea menu is absolutely elegantly & deliciously prepared. And it had a gluten free option as well.
I had the “Green Tea: Kyushu Japan Sencha
Spring harvest yields a deliciously vegetative green tea with buttery smoothness My husband has his all time favourite, Creamy Earl Grey
A remarkably heady earl grey tempered with wickedly delicious cream flavour. One cup is not enough.” If you ever decide to do your Rockies Tour, don’t leave Banff, Alberta, Canada without raising your pinky for Teatime & be treated like a “royal”- "Teatime: A hug for the soul and spirit."

High tea in Banff is always a treat! There are a variety of teas to choose from and each has a distinct palette but keep in mind that you only get to try one so choose wisely. At one point they used to let you try more than one tea, which always made high tea feel like a better value; but now you have to plan strategically with other members of your tea party if you want to try more than one kind.

The pastries (both sweet and savoury) are scrumptious and always presented beautifully. They do an excellent job of switching up the menu so you are in for a different experience if you go more than once.

Highly recommended for a special event or social gathering; especially with a stunning view that overlooks the mountains.

Great experience. Definitely worth it, even if you are not a fan of tea - like me. Everything was delicious, the views were amazing and the service was excellent - Amy did an amazing job at guiding us through this experience.

We came to this Fairmont for Afternoon Tea on our way to Lake Louise. Parking was a breeze as there's a lot on site, but be forewarned it is expensive. The hotel is amazing to look at, it indeed looks like a castle. It's a little confusing on how to get to the Rundle Bar, so I had to call and ask. Once we got there we were sat in the corner with a fantatic view of the valley, we were greeted by our server Sandy. She was polite and attentive and friendly. We had added to our reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and 3/4 of us were vegetarian and she asked to confirm. I was given a separate tower with a "happy birthday" celebratory chocolate in the brownie. We had ordered Creamy Earl Grey, Ontario Icewine, Goddess Oolong, and Madam Butterfly teas. The reason I dropped a star is because all the teas but the Earl Grey were extremely bland. We have had tea at Fairmont Vancouver and the teas have been much more flavourful; quite disappointing for spending over $400. Also, the decor is not how they've advertise with the plants & flowers.
