Francais en vacances à cochrane, notre randonnée du jour, nous a fait découvrir à Sunset Ridge le restau Rocky Shawarna and Donair.
Accueil très sympathique et courtoise.
Nos assiette de shawarma au poulet était excellente et nous avons eut des portions généreuses , presque trop copieuses pour un déjeuner de randonneurs.

We decided to eat at this place on our way home from vacation. It was a great decision as the food here was absolutely delicious!

We got the Trio BBQ plate and a Shawarma Poutine. The meats, the garlic sauce, the rice and just about everything about these things we ordered were great.

There’s a limited number of seats inside (3 tables, 4 seats each) so we waited a bit before we were able to dine in. Most of the other customers just did take out. The staff inside were very nice and accommodating.

Too bad this place is far from our house otherwise we’d go regularly. At least we know where to stop by again next time we go on a vacation.

Rocky Shawarma is hands down the best spot for shawarma and donair! The flavours are amazing, and the service is super friendly. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and garlic potatoes, and wow—so good! Everything was fresh and just melted in my mouth. Definitely my new favourite spot in Sunset!

Rocky Shawarma is a must visit! We had the lamb shawarma, and it was incredibly flavorful and tender, truly the best we’ve had. Shara was amazing and deserves to be commended for his warm personality and exceptional hospitality. He made us feel so welcomed and even gave us a few extra treats, which was such a kind gesture. The food was fantastic, but Shara’s friendliness and attention to detail really made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend! Thank you, Shara, for going above and beyond!

Food is always fresh and tasty. Lots of variety from meat to sides to condiments. Service is friendly, quick and calm. We feel appreciated from the welcoming smile, samples while we wait to the kind goodbye. Looking forward to our meal as I finish this post.

The customer service at Rocky Shawarma is amazing - they have the most positive demeanour and I always have a pleasant experience when ordering here. The food is also amazing, so fresh, flavourful and with large portions. And they usually give samples while your food is being prepared, which I love because I'm normally starving and it allows me to try other things. I highly recommend this place, they will put a smile on your face. IMO it's the best Shawarma in town.

I recently visited Rocky Shawarma in Cochrane and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious—the meat platter and the shawarma wrap were flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out. The serving is pretty generous, and very affordable.

What's better than the food? The staff!
The service was also top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and ensured that everything was just right. Despite being a small establishment, they provided a warm and comfortable atmosphere. My little niece was a little upset because she was hungry and being super impatient. One of the staff made her smile by giving her a tiny artificial flower. My kiddos even got a nice treat.

Just a heads up that the place is more designed for a take out as there's a limited number of seats and tables. We were 4 adults and 3 children and occupied a good portion of the eating area.

If you're in Cochrane and craving some delicious shawarma, I highly recommend stopping by here. It's a hidden gem that’s worth discovering! I know that this will be our go-to place whenever we are in town.
