I’ve always had the best experiences with Room 45-1! I came back with my cousin who was eager to play the piano for the area, and fell in love with the vibe they offer. I always get the Chai Tea Latte, it’s delicious. The service they provide is always welcoming. The area is such a beautiful calm place, especially during broad daylight when the sun hits inside. Great little hideaway. It's a little hard to find (up the stairs from the shepherds fold book store) but once you're there it's really quiet with great staff and really good paninis. They make a really solid drip coffee, none of that crazy stuff most places seem to be doing. You walk in and feel like it's a place where you could hang out all day, read a book or meet a friend. Again unlike most coffee shops these days that seem to be trying to funnel you out the door as soon as you have your drink.

I recently visited Room 45-1, a charming coffee shop located on the second floor of Shepherd's Fold bookshop in Grande Prairie. I ordered a latte with oat milk and a panini, and both were delicious. The latte was perfectly brewed, and the panini was fresh and satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. Never in my life have I as a singer/songwriter been so upset with a company that does live music nights not be accepting of all types of genres and music. I love the place for the food and the service but when it comes to applying to play there for music I have never been so upset with the standards that they have.

Please review the standard you posses with music because is is very discriminatory to not allow all genres in a building or original Christian songs that are written.

Great place to study! They have a nice little fireplace and is right above the bookstore. Definitely will be back.
