I normally don’t leave reviews but this experience was unacceptable.

The waitress was kind, but the food experience was terrible. One dish came out with visible mold on the bottom bun. She apologized sincerely and took it back, but the cook later came out, aggressively insisting it was “burnt farina.” Regardless, the meal was never replaced, and my friend was left without food.
Luckily we were not charged for that part of the meal but the chef did not even inquire about what replacing it or compensating it, he was just set on telling us that we were wrong to “think” it was mold. Extremely disappointing.

From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere of this restaurant sets the tone for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Warm, welcoming, and full of character, it’s the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in.

The owner, Mary, is an absolute gem. Her hospitality and attention to detail make you feel more like a guest in her home than a customer in a restaurant. You can tell she puts her heart into everything.

The food? Outstanding. Chef Pasquale is a true talent—every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell he cooks with passion and precision.

And don’t miss the drinks—especially the margaritas. Julia makes a killer one! Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and the ideal complement to the meal.

All around, a fantastic spot that combines great people, excellent food, and a memorable vibe. Highly recommended! 🙂

Very disappointed!!

I was so excited to try this restaurant as the reviews were impressive! Unfortunately, my experience was terribly unpleasant! I called on Friday afternoon to ask if Route 27 had gluten free items on the menu and whomever answered the phone was rude and abrupt as if I were bothering him. If that was the cook/chef/owner - terrible customer service! He just barked 'Only pasta' at me and rushed off the phone.

However, I decided to come with my husband and had to wait as there was only one poor girl running around doing her best. It was not busy around 6pm so I was surprised we had to wait so long. Another customer has to explain why they was no one around. Bad first impression! We ordered the calamari that was chewy - not fresh. We also ordered the ribs as I had read great things only to find out there were none available after 10 minutes. Then decided to order the salmon and that was not available either. Why have items on the menu that are not in available?!? What kind of restaurant does that? I understand one but two

So I settled for a burger (with no bun) which came out burnt in some places and overcooked and dry in others ( not posting picture but gross). I had to scrape off the burnt pieces and try to manage the rest of the meal. My husband got a 'ribeye' steak which was just mediocre and for $55, we expected better quality and presentation. We were both turned off by the whole experience while watching the only server running back and forth trying to attend to other customers. We noticed that another table of 4 had to return their food as well. She kept apologizing to everyone. How sad...I guess that is why this place was not busy. Know I know! Know you know!

Shout out to Julia who was an awesome server that was patient and kind despite running around serving everyone (some with complaints of their own). Final advice - If you are hungry and come upon Route 27 - Keep driving!!! You will be happy you did or change the disgruntled cook/chef and hire more staff!!

My friends and I came here last night and we had a great time. The food was delicious, and the staff were very nice. The Chef came out and told us about their new menu, and gave us some great recommendations. We came back the next morning to get some smoothies, and they were great too! They have a beautiful patio in the back that we will be coming back to visit in the summer!

I came here last night with my sister and a few friends, and I think it might be our new go-to place! The food and drinks were so good! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and the chef was very kind. He recommended us a pizza to try on their new menu, and it was so well made and so so good. I’ve never tried a pizza with honey on it before, and it worked so well and tasted amazing!

This place is amazing! Everything is homemade and you can really taste the difference. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, which makes the experience even better. They also have a beautiful patio that’s perfect for relaxing and enjoying your meal. Definitely worth checking out!

Love the new coffee house, ordered the cheesecake and a green smoothie it was fantastic. Smoothie was to die for and the cheesecake was like nothing i’ve had before.

On the other hand the hours of operation suck as i’ll never be able to attend before 4pm, and i’m sure the same for a lot of other working individuals. Hopefully this is just as they just opened and will change soon 🙁
