We finally got to visit this dinner and were not disappointed!

The servers were hilarious and sharp-witted with each other and regular customers, and respectful and courteous to us newbies. I had the pancakes - well most of them lol they were huge and fluffy! Hubby had the eggs Benedict, which he described as buttery. And he was particularly excited that the hash browns were his favourite - shredded. 🙂 don't find that style all too often these days!

The atmosphere reminded me of when I was a kid, traveling between provinces to visit family for holidays and stopping at the roadside diners and gas bar restaurants - friendly, inviting, and quick service, with hearty meals that keep you warm and satisfied all day. (And the regulars adding to the atmosphere too!)

Will return happily soon!! ❤️

This diner is a "seat yourself" diner. The staff are very quick and will bring the menu soon.
Despite one server being the only server and cashier during this holiday, the wait times were almost negligible!
During the winter season, I would recommend sitting further away from the front doors as it is quite chilly.
The food comes after 10 to 15 minutes and is in good large proportions.
When I ordered the bacon cheese burger, the waitress asked about my condement preferences and topping preferences, and I appreciate that.
I also had the chocolate milkshake, which was delicious; it comes with whip cream on top too.

The only thing better than restaurants done up to look like diners are ACTUAL diners. This is the real thing (stars explode from eyes). We were all thumbs up on the coffee, and all of us LOVED the ambiance. It's so fun looking at all the stuff on the walls.

I'd love to come back for lunch if I'm back in town again but this visit was for brekkie. I was a bit nervous when the eggs bennie came and the hollandaise was technicolor orange because that is the only thing my friend ever orders for breakfast and is a connoisseur. However, they seemed totally satisfied with them so my fears were unfounded. The food is simple = but good.

I don't know what they put in the pancakes but they were MAGICAL. I could not stop raving about them. If it was a mix they must have been laughing at me in the back 😀 Some of the best pancakes I have ever had. The waitress was EXACTLY what I hope for at a diner. If you know, you know, honey.

Please never change Route 99!

Need better parking . Food was okay, big servings though. Eggs Benedict I ordered was bland. The hash was dry and lacking flavour. Service was okay.

I celebrated mother's day here with my youngest daughter. I love the vibes here. So retro. And the service is really good. I would recommend the egg Benedict, yummy!

I had the diner burger, it was great. The problem was the fries were reheated or sat for a long time, and the ketchup wasn’t Heinz or Frenchs’. Ketchup makes a burger, no name is disgustingly. It was a fun place to get once, I’ve driven by for years and I love non-franchise diners, however there are much better out there with proper fries and real ketchup.

A good diner experience. The food was excellent. Tasty bacon and potato soup. Tender liver and onions, Others has Salisbury Steak, burger, fish and chips. The service was good. It was quick too, which, with two hungry energetic kids in tow was a blessing. Yes we will go there again. Didn't have dessert but the pies looked delicious.

The food was fantastic and service was great. Went for breakfast. Very large plates of food and all delicious and good prices. It’s quite cold in there and so they could use better heating in the winter months, but would definitely go back. When a place is packed, that’s always a good sign👌
