Went on a Saturday morning , place was very busy , ordered the special donut of the day and some cinnamon buns. I have had lots of baking goods from many different bakeries and would rate this one as very run of the mill average. Nothing special at all. I did not try the sandwiches or any other items other than the donuts, maybe they are better..

We stopped here for lunch and they were well stocked and had a good selection. We had one of each of their sausage rolls, a barbecue beef roll, Greek salad, carrot ginger soup. Then also the Nanaimo bars, and a cinnamon bun. All were very good, but the soup was especially good and also the cinnamon bun was very good.

Royal Bay bakery is amazing! The baked goods are always fresh and delicious, and they always have an amazing variety of both sweet and savory options! You can easily find something in your budget, or even a special splurge, and I have never tried something there I have regretted! I highly recommend the cheese bread, sausage rolls, or the birds' nest cookies! Love this bakery so much!

I’ve driven by a lot and popped in a few months back for sweet treats, cookies and cinnamon rolls. All of those were great! Second visit was around 9:15am, the place was empty. The staff is super friendly but they seemed disorganized or maybe distracted. We were eating in and I had a breakfast wrap. It wasn’t heated all through and was just okay. This place has a nice bakery atmosphere but talking to a few locals it can really be hit and miss. I won’t give up though because the staff are really nice and I haven’t eaten all they offer so there is more to be had.

A gem of a bakery! This is a smallish bakery in a great location. They have a huge selection of cookies and pastries to choose from. Their bacon breakfast sandwich tasted so good and the sausage roll was excellent. The service was vey fast and friendly. We'll definitely come back.

Great place to cycle too, so many trails. 🚴‍♀️🏔️Amazing Sweet's, treats, and snacks especially if you're headed to the beach with family or friends.
It's one of my favorite passionate bakeries keeping fresh 'from scratch' baking alive, and flavorful. 😀
