I recently visited Rumours Hair Salon and had an unsatisfactory experience. Despite clearly communicating my preferred haircut, the stylist refused to follow my request and did not achieve the look I wanted. Even though I left a tip of 5 CAD, I am disappointed with the service and will not be returning.

Super disappointed with these guys. Refused to cut my nephews hair because of his skin condition that causes his scalp to be dry. Wouldn’t even wash it. He left with no cut, feeling humiliated. You guys absolutely lost our business. Hoping this is something you can learn from.

WARNING!!!! They destroyed my friends hair, she was completely devastated. Her appointment took 5 hours and the first 3 were only putting the foils in, so her bottom layer sat with 10 volume more then 3 hours (her hair isn't that thick) her hair was completely white. She specifically asked for natural color and transition into her roots and the stylist ignored her, she had a white line where her mid lengths reached her roots and she didn't even cut her hair like she asked. She went somewhere else to have it fixed as best they could which added another $230 unto the $250 she paid at this salon. When I called regarding a refund she said it was against the salon policy, which my friend wasn't even told about or agreed too, not to mention she lied because not 2 mins later she said she as the manger would give a refund if she thought it was deserved, so there wasn't a policy! They told us she could have come in to get it fixed but why would she go back to a salon that ruined her hair?!
There was another lie aswell in the conversation so watch out, and consider going to another salon.

Absolutely without a doubt the worse hair experience I have ever received. Showed the stylist a pic of my last cut and perm. Specifically told her I wanted my ears covered. Received a Brillo pad on top of my head. HORRIBLE I’ll be wearing a hat for weeks 😡😡😡

Great place however a girl in training did my nails the last two times I was in and I was charged the same price as if she was trained. The nails lasted four days. Also I didn't ask for her. I was on vacation and had professional pics done and had to hide my nails.

The women was nice but I could have had less yanking of my hair. Letting my hair be washed wasn’t even an option which was disappointing. Don’t think I will go back.

I am SO disappointed in this business. My nephew attended to get his hair cut today, and they refused to cut it. He has a condition called ichthyosis, which results in his skin being rough and dry. They refused to cut his hair or even wash it due to his dry skin, causing him to leave absolutely humiliated. You’ve lost not only his business today, but mine as well.
