As a plus sized person I will admit that I was reluctant to go into a store called 'The Running Room' as I was sure that I wasn't their typical client. I'm so glad that I went. Jan was nothing short of amazing. She was so kind and understood that I have a knee injury and she knew right away what sort of shoe would best support my knee health and allow me to stay as mobile and active as possible. I'm a size women's 11 and I have a wide foot, I always struggle finding shoes that fit. We tried several different shoes to be sure that I found the best one. Sure enough, Jan's first suggestion was spot on and I left wearing them and then spent a lot of time on my feet shopping around Kingston. I will absolutely go back for my next pair of shoes! Thank you for simply the best service that I've ever had in a shoe store!

I'm from out of town and was tired of ordering online only to have to return shoes and not find the tight fight for my very hard to fit feet and bad knees . I had an appointment in Kingston on June 6 th and made a point of heading over for some help . With the intention of not leaving without a pair of runners . After many trial and errors the very lovely patient and knowledgeable young lady finally found what worked . The other 3 employees in the store at the time were all actively helpful . Thank you I can get back to my fitness walking comfortably again .

Visited for the firt time today. The service was AMAZING. Very knowledgeable staff who just wanted me to have the right shoe. They didn't try to upsell me at all. I will buy my shoes there going forward.

Today the manager showed top notch customer service and care. She did me a huge favour in exercising some flexibility on an exchange, and when it turned out that they didn't have the shoes that I needed, and couldn't get them for me in time, she called a competing store on my behalf.

Sure enough, she sent my business elsewhere, ensuring my satisfaction - not sales - as her top priority.

Next pair of shoes I buy will definitely be at the Running Room, simply because she showed how much they care about their customers.

We were in the store yesterday and Kris helped my daughter find the perfect shoe to fit her narrow foot and running purpose. When she heard about a recent pair of lost shoes (which we had also purchased from Running Room only 3 weeks prior), she was very generous in extending a discount to new pair of shoes for my daughter. Stopped in just intending to browse. I thought I had a decent level of knowledge about running and what I am looking for in a shoe but couldn’t have been more wrong. Jan was super helpful and pulled 5 or 6 pairs for me. As she handed me shoes she was able to explain how they will benefit me. I was really impressed with her knowledge level and kindness.

I visited The Running Room today looking to buy a pair of running shoes and I was beyond impressed with my experience at the store. Jan was so wonderful, kind, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and recommended a shoe that would fit my needs. I’m an amateur runner and she made me feel so welcomed to not only the store but to running as well. She gave me great advice and tips to my training in a very comforting and non-intimating way (I really appreciated that as again, I am new to running!). I was there last night. The person running the store, I think his name was Zachary, was very friendly and super knowledgeable. You can tell that he's really good at his job. He helped me figure out my foot type and had me try on several different pairs of shoes that he thought might work best for me. Could not believe how well they fit! This was a kind of personalized experience I've never had buying shoes before. Such a professional, helpful, and chill vibe. 10/10 experience, I will definitely be back!
