My husband and I stayed 2 nights in the Fenn cabin. We had a fabulous time. Accommodations were excellent, very comfortable and just like home. Nespresso coffee to start your day while sitting and admiring the beautiful property. The entire property is absolutely beautiful. We took advantage of all of it. We golfed the beautiful course and enjoyed cocktails and a fabulous dinner at Roger’s Edge onsite. The entire staff were very friendly throughout the property. If you are a golfer or just want to get away for some peace and quiet, make this your selection. We were alone but would be lots of fun to bring family and friends too.

Love the rustic cabin. The real wood fire was the best part. Property is super quiet for our romantic getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The forest trail that leads to the eagle lookout was so beautiful and the sound of the creek was so relaxing. We will be back!

If you eat at the restaurant the burgers were great and recommend the yam fries. Guests also save 20% which is a great bonus.

Nespresso coffee machine in the room, lavender calming pillow spray and bath salts are lovely extras for guests💗

My husband and I and most of our guests came all the way from Ontario, we had the pleasure of hosting our daughter and fiancés wedding at Rowena's this past week and the venue and service were beyond exceptional. Our wedding coordinator Paige was on top of every detail, and put our minds at ease. We did not need to worry about a thing, there was nothing Paige wouldn’t look after for us from set up to take down. Everything was so beautiful… the food was delicious and our guests were so happy, they let us know how much they loved the venue.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those who made this day so very special 💖
We definitely hope to come back for a little getaway some time soon.

Felt like a million bucks walking in and it smells so good and clean in here!! amazing beds and super lovely and kind staff. :)||amazing light and windows. super great shower and heating. love the tv and the fridge. ||love the kitchen and the island, super great, luxury feeling. also the high ceiling is super beautiful! ||the complementary items are amazingggg!

We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay at the Nelson Cabin. There is no TV in the cabin but great views of the river and golf course! The best thing about this get-away for us is that from this area, you feel that you are nestled in the woods, separated from civilization, albeit for the creature comforts you have in the resort/restaurant …. you can find peace and solitude. The staff are attentive to the patrons and quickly respond to requests. We didn’t need much but did make a request for more firewood in the communal box and, not only was that resupplied in a couple of hours (noted after we returned from a drive to Hope), but several crates of wood were placed on our front porch. We felt well served throughout our experience. One should consider the time of year and what wildlife you wish to see. The Canadian geese were on their way back and we saw a lot of Trumpeter Swans in the area. Eagles and Herons are in the area. And, we saw a few die hard golfers. Back at the cabin, decent wifi allowed us enough of a step away from the stressors of life and still be able to connect as we wished. Highly recommended as we use this as home base and do things in Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs and Hope …. and all within 75 mins from Vancouver.

Such a beautiful place, I can’t wait to come back. It’s so relaxing to sit on the patio and hear the birds chirping and being surrounded by trees. My husband and I love it! Everyone is very nice as well. We played golf and also enjoyed the restaurant! The whole property is laid out very well.

We ate at the restaurant there. The food was delicious, but the service was snail paced and only once during the course of the meal were we asked about anything. They partially redeemed themselves by offering us our dessert for free because of the 20 minute waut for it to arrive. For the record, it was a piece of cheesecake; slice, plate, serve. 20 minutes?!?!

It's a beautiful venue with delicious food, but once you sign the paperwork and they receive their payment, they seem to lose interest in your experience.

We chose this place because we thought the facilities would alleviate much of the wedding stress. Unfortunately, the two wedding coordinators quit right before our wedding, and the new hire had already moved on to another job. I struggled to reach anyone by phone, and the call backs took days. Replies to my emails also took multiple days, with several exchanges needed just to get a single question answered. The behavior and attitude of the coordinator I interacted with were far from professional. She was dismissive, unresponsive, and often appeared disinterested in our concerns. I felt relieved to discover she wouldn't be present for my wedding. As a result, although our package included a coordinator, we ended up without one.

We were shocked to find ourselves being charged before the agreed-upon time, and our wedding was even threatened with cancellation due to payment issues. The new coordinator was unaware of the exact amount we owed, despite our diligent payment efforts. This premature demand for payment added unnecessary stress and uncertainty to our wedding planning.

When I contacted the general manager to explain the numerous issues we were facing, I received one email in response and nothing more. Despite reaching out two additional times, I did not receive any further communication or assistance.

I had envisioned this venue as a place we would return to for anniversaries and weekend getaways. However, the disappointing experience we had has made it challenging for me to consider spending any more money here.
