Un endroit hors du commun! Magnifique maison ancestrale rénovée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût et de soins par des hôtes qui ont manifestement un grand souci du détail. Elizabeth nous accueille chaleureusement et nous fait de bonnes suggestions d’activités et de restaurants. Les chambres, à thème, sont très joliment décorées et munies de tout ce qu’il faut… et un peu plus. Soyez cependant avisés qu’il n’y a aucune télévision disponible pour les visiteurs que ce soit dans les chambres ou au salon commun. Cela surprend au début mais contribue au grand calme de l’endroit. Le petit déjeuner est de loin le meilleur de notre voyage! N’hésitez pas!!

We recently hosted a literary festival in the town of Pictou and this was the first place we contacted to arrange accommodations for our guests. Elizabeth was friendly, easy to work with and quick to adapt to changes. Communication was top-notch and rooms were memorable for all the guests. Their appreciation of being chosen was also warm and welcoming.

A lovely heritage house, remodelled and renovated by the owners. we stayed in the Hummingbird room. View out over the harbour and train station. Beds and pillows comfy. Bathroom well equipped with deep tub and shower. Nice sitting area. Clean and well appointed. Walking distance to town and sights. Amazing breakfast included in the price. The owners very hospitable, opening up the common areas for guests to sit and relax.

What a wonderful place to stay in Pictou! Right on the water.|Elizabeth and her husband were so welcoming and fun to chat with.|The room was beautiful, very clean, | with a fully renovated bathroom. Each morning we were served a lovely breakfast.|They gave us great ideas on where to look for shells, nearby sites, and a great yarn store.

Glenn and Elizabeth are wonderful hosts! And their house is in a great location, walking distance to the middle of Pictou, with a nice view of the waterfront. Their house is lovely and quiet and we would definitely stay there again.
