Delicious. Blackstone Eggs Benny. Eggs were a little past what I asked for, but the Hollandaise was so good as well as the Bacon, so it made up for it. Reasonably priced. Good service. Could use some updating and a bit of a clean but cute, quaint place to stop for a great breakfast.

The food was.... ok. Typical diner-style fare. Nothing extrordinary. Staff were friendly and attentive. Lackluster coffee. The dishes were a tad pricey for what they are. If you're feeling too lazy to cook and want a simple meal, this place will do

Lovely little old school diner with a nice breakfast spread. Pictured here are the Breakfast wrap and the The Bowl, minus chorizo.

Our server, who immediately recognized us as fellow vegetarians, gave thoughtful suggestions to make minor modifications. Our breakfast was awesome because of it. Sorry we didn't catch your name!

Went for the brekkie buffet ($17.99) was good! Fast efficient service from friendly welcoming staff. Clean and had a nice vibe. Love the fish tank above the bar!!
The only thing that would make this a bit better, imo, would be to add a toast/toaster station in line with the buffet.

Was super impressed with the service!! Waitress' were awesome. Food was really good, easy to get allergy restrictions and the place was open seating, not crowded close together, and nice and clean.

The breakfast here is amazing. I stopped here with my cycling group for a quick brunch and we were all blown away. The Second Home Restaurant is a casual, small town place where you can go to expect some delicious comfort food at a reasonable price. I'm a big fan of waffles and these ones are delicious. They're not the fanciest, but they taste home made and delicious. And for $9, I was impressed with the amount I received.

The French toast that others in my group looked delicious too and is something to consider as well.

The restaurant is located in the upper part of Summerland just off of the highway. It's a great little spot to stop at for a home cooked breakfast and I know I'll be back. The patio outside would be nice when the weather is a bit better.
