Nice cute place with lots of history and right on the water. Extended patio in the summer with live music, some consider it a staple in the community of Ladner. The food portion was good, lots of salad and fries with a pretty good tasting salmon burger, my friend had the seafood pasta, and it was also great with a good amount of seafood.

What a pleasant and memorable experience! The second we stepped in, it appeared to be a lovely decorated restaurant with maritime themes. We got a window seat which was sweet. There was a peaceful natural sunlight shining through.

The server's attitude was exceptionally memorable though. She had an air of warmth and comfort and she was really nice with a casual personality! She let us know of the special of the day which we decided to go with. There was also a beer menu that went into detail all the different types of beer and flavor profiles, which really helped our decision.

We got cod and chips, that were served so piping hot it could burn. I am usually pretty picky with fries but these ones hit the spot, with a good balance of crispiness and saltiness. The fish was delicious--I've never had exceptional battered fish, probably just personal preference, so I'll hand it to them that it was very good. Very crispy with soft flaky fish. And was it ever filling! With the beer, we were extremely satisfied. It's a bigger portion than it looks. The lovely lady kept checking up on us to make sure everything's good, and we just nodded with big smiles.

Overall I do recommend for the beautiful interior, the awesome service, the extensive drinks menu and the hot comfy food. Next time I'd like to try their assortment of other marine animals 🤤

Well, we thought we were walking into something good. But don't let that fool you. If you are fooled, then head this advice - order a cheap drink and flee for the exit immediately.
Our waitress advertised the fish and chips to be "world class." And also hyped up the Ciopinno as one of their best items on the menu. Mom ordered 2 pc halibut but it definitely was not halibut, and it definitely was packaged frozen breaded fish under the guise of "panko crumbs". They gave her 4 small pieces that were exactly cookie cutter shaped from one another (as if it came from a frozen breaded fish package)... and the restaurant feels good about charging market price for this - 27$
I did take a portion of my mom's fries, and upon the portion that I took was a hair which had been fried into the fry, and stuck out like one strand of grass.
My dad's ciopinno was a mess of flavours, and altogether not fresh. Clams and mussels were old. The red wine did not match well with the tomato pepper sauce that they had going on, and the other bits of seafood (fish, scallops, crab) were, well, fishy and overcooked. Accompanying the ciopinno was a caesar salad which leaves had been wilted, either from the amount of dressing piled onto it, or from it being premade in the back of the kitchen and let to sit for hours before serving. Mom complained about the salad, and the server took 3$ off the bill for it. Between 2 5$ drinks and 2 unworthy meals, the bill was 67$.
The only thing we didn't do right was complain more about our meals. My parents were spending time with their daughter whom they don't get to see often anymore and we all wanted to show a positive spirit towards each other amidst the horrible restaurant experience.
We will definitely not be coming back and advise you not to come either.

Was out for a nice sunny Friday motorcycle ride and came upon this little spot , nice patio by some water, delicious fish and chips, friendly quick service. Reasonable prices. Very nice I will be back !

This is a nice place but I think we came on an “off day”. Servers were very busy chatting with selves but I get it, only 6 patrons 🤷‍♂️
One star for the $17 for 5 shrimp!!
The rings were good as were the Caesar and $5 pint.
$45 for a snack seems unfair.
I’m happy the locals support it but we won’t be back.

Ok… if you have not been here before. Jump in your car or bike or walk here Asap. The patio is amazing. The food is spectacular. I have been here about 4 times over the last 4 years. It honestly feels like it just gets better every time. The garlic steak bites are a 10. Clam chowder is a 10. I promise you you will not be disappointed. Yes it’s that’s good. Plus the beer is ice cold ♥️

We went for dinner and shared crab cakes and salmon stuffed with spinach.
Each dish had a small salad, and the salmon included rice.
My friend had a small beer - it was $5.

We sat out on the deck with the view of the Slough.

We also shared the strawberry cheesecake and the chocolate mousse. Both were very good.

It was a lovely evening.

Strongbow apple cider is perfect drink. If you like to edge off after a nice long day or work. Or if you are warm it is just perfect
