Had the unfortunate experience of renting a room here for a month quoted 1600+100 pet deposit on the phone got here became a 200 dollar deposit, then given a room with no tv no microwave that was dirtier than a trap house still full of meth bags after deep cleaning our own room we were going to stay until the end of next month but then she decided for the next month she wanted 200 more and that's not even getting into the junkies all over the place yelling screaming and banging on your door asking for smokes or drugs at all hours of the night cops here pretty much daily. Unless you have no other options avoid this motel

I had to rent a room here till my housing unit was ready end of Jan my dog falls under adoa laws charged a pet deposit that I didn't get back 1600 to1700 to 1900 all in a matter of days changing cost pourpusly trying to starve people or ripping people off while on odsp full of meth and cockroches everywhere a few good people but mostly people doing mething in the lot asking to do sexual favors for 20$ the service was non had to bring in my own TV and microwave and tried to steal thar from us aswell avoid at all costs no fitted sheets disgusting rooms I had to deep clean everything before I touched anything the plauge is cleaner this this place

T.V didn't work. There were also no batteries for the remote.
The bathroom sink with clogged. Never drained.
Fairly dirty, but cheap. Nice staff

If you would like to be in a room at Sherwood then you will be entertained of druggies all around the parking lot. If you don’t care how disgusting the bathroom is then this place is for you! DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE! Most unsanitary place the ever. Majority of hotels were either full or $300. I paid for what I got from here. But don’t bring children here.

After another,(prebooked) hotel situation fell through... A friend needed a last minute room where she could bring her dog(s)
This was the only hotel that took her call and accepted her dogs... So, out of sheer necessity, she decided to book a stay.
The first red flag should have been when they asked her "don't you want to see the room before you commit"?
Her response " is it clean? "Yes it's clean.
Can I have my dogs? " yes"
She booked.
Upon opening the door to the room, she began to cry. The room was absolutely disgusting.
Clean it was Not! But oddly that isn't the worst thing about this room.
Bathroom fixtures were rusty and falling apart.
The bed looked as comfortable as a cardboard box on bricks.
There was a weird substance smeared on the mirror.
The carpet has decades of mildew smells. There was no surface she could touch without worry of catching disease.
She made a decision to sleep in her car. And only use the hotel to pee.
However, when the people living staying at the hotel came out...she became fearful.
She cancelled the room got her money back and decided to stay at an ENRoute.

While this is her story, I was there for this.

Have stayed at the Sherwood several times in the past few years and have always found the staff accommodating unfortunately sometimes the guests and the surrounding area can be not so accommodating but that really has nothing to do with the hotel itself as it is they absolutely try their best. And are very amenable to customers concerns.

The most disgusting accommodations I've ever encountered. City of Brantford provided this motel complimentary as the shelters were full.||My husband and I were treated like second class citizens at check-in. They provided us with garbage bags so we could clean our room, which had not been done in probably several patrons before us. The sheets were clearly used and no toilet paper or towels were provided, soap etc.||The female owner burst into our room at 10:30 am and told us to get out now! (Check out was 11 am) and clearly posted. ||She stood rudely at the door until we packed our bag and left. ||Alot of middle of the night traffic in and out. A little scary in fact. ||This place should be condemned. One could only wonder if the city turns a blind eye, perhaps secret partners? Who know. ||I wouldn't recommend this dirtbag scummy motel to my worst enemy. FACT! Room 21
