Belle surprise sur la route! La nourriture est savoureuse, le service impeccable et les enfants sont les bienvenus (mini menu pour eux). Bonne musique et ambiance sympathique.

Delicious food! GREAT service!! We were so glad someone in town recommended this place to us. They had a good variety of options on the menu. The Crab Rangoon was the best I’ve ever had. We all had some version of the Burger on Mac. The Mac and Cheese was so yummy. Everything came out fresh and hot. We really enjoyed our servers KD and Grayson, they were so friendly and even guided us on some must see vacation spots. We were pressed for time so didn’t get to experience the live music. We can’t wait to visit again. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

Home visiting, had to try the place everyone is talking about. Not disappointed. Portions were big, food was tasty. Our host Dan was very attentive and charming. Best honey garlic wings I've had.

Everything here was great!

The service was top notch. I had the cantina fries which were really great, the fresh jalapeno on there really worked great. I had a special smoked salmon pasta which was pretty unique and really good if you're a fan of bagels and lox.

The Spanish toast dessert was pretty unreal. I loved it, but frankly I could have done to split it with someone. It's very decadent.

Service was spot on. Everyone was super nice and attentive.

We arrived at about 9.00pm after a long drive from Brier Island to New Glasgow, NS - 400km or so. It was obviously a very busy evening for them and the easiest thing for them would have been to turn us away. But they didn't. They welcomed us as if we were their most important guest for the evening, and fed us really fantastic food. They also did this to two more late arrival travellers.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and it was impossible to fault this place. Really nice peiple and great food too!

Fabulous food! Best meal in a very long time. We were delighted that stopped for dinner while driving through. The Chef can easily competed with any of those fancy downtown Toronto restaurants. Lastly, hosts Don and Eden are wonderful.

Myself and my friend went here Friday after work and were absolutely impressed. We went to catch up, decompress from a busy work week and hopefully have some great food and service and we weren’t disappointed.
Don made some menu suggestions, we split 4 tapas and were very happy with this recommendation. I will definitely be back and the atmosphere was comfortable that I would go there solo to grab a drink or a quick bite to eat.
If you enjoy music, this was live Friday night as well, however; we didn’t stay for it. If you haven’t tried Shoebox Cantina, add it to your list.

Great spot in New Glasgow! We really appreciated our servers, Don and Eden! They were friendly and sweet. The food was tasty and although it was hot and humid out, the patio was very cute! We will come back. Lots of vegetarian options!
