We had an amazing dinner at Sky Lounge last night with friends! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and atmosphere was great. Our kids were well taken care of, with high chairs provided. The staff, including the manager and server, went above and beyond with their warm smiles and service.

The food was outstanding. Loved the complimentary bread, Chicken Lettuce Salad, Wagyu Tenderloin, Salmon Burger, and decadent desserts.

I brought my Mom here for Mother's Day weekend and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED our time here. We came for the brunch and the food was delicious. I had the breakfast burger and my mom had the steak and eggs. We stopped and looked at eachother in amazement! NATE, you made our day....with your great recommendations and beautiful spirit. NICK, your cocktails were PHENOMENAL! 10's across the board!

First visit to Skye Avenue last night. Was very very impressed. We had a large (30+ people) party. The service we received from Kat was amazing. She was on top of everything, knowable about the menu, friendly, worked well under the pressure of such a large party, she got every last bill correct even though people were moving around. I can’t say enough about the service we received. The food was 5 star. Great presentation and layers of flavor. Tried a few different drinks of their menu and they were all good. After dinner we moved over to their lounge to continue our party. The Dj was spinning 90’s hip hop and reggae. We all had a really good time. We will definitely be back !

I'm not one to leave a bad review but...
I came with a group of colleagues for a "team" bonding dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our service was okay. Unfortunately my salmon came raw and I was told that it's usually how they cook it...the waiter asked if he can grab me anything like a new salmon but after seeing the raw salmon I had lost my appetite and felt uneasy and my group was half way finished their meal already....I had to share half the mushroom burger and the fries with my colleague. I was starving...the chef came out and persisted I grab something else. I really just wanted my salmon so I asked for it to be to go...I wasn't charged however, I wasn't given cutlery or napkins. I'd come back for the ambience but I'd stay clear of the main entrees. Especially the fish...

Clear blue Skye?

I meant to come by and try this place when it was first opened but for some strange reasons I always thought it was on the other side of King George Hwy (I know it doesn’t matter but to some it does in Surrey lol) However it’s on the SFU campus side of Surrey Central mall, the entrance is located outside the mall.

Decided to come here for lunch. Greeted by the host and got seated. The restaurant has that modern and trendy look, mid end appearance.

Here were the food I ordered (only lunch menu available);

1. Tomato basil soup. It was probably one of the better tomato soup I had; perfect balance of that creamy tomato taste and texture, not too thick like pasta sauce like some places made it but enough body to hold its taste. And not overly tomatoey. Loved it!
2. Chicken wings (hot buffalo sauce). Hot damn, looks like another one of those dry azz tree branches? NOPE! Fooled me! Light crisp skin with just a right amount of sauce and inside was juicy and hot. I eat a lot of wings and these were actually good!
3. Prosciutto and burrata pizza. Everything was good, perfect amount of each of the ingredients, the crust had a nice crisp outside, but the sauce soaked it at the middle, making it quite soggy.(it’s like on a perfect date and suddenly went limped in the middle).
4. Lobster Cobb salad. Good amount of lobster meat, the amount of sauce was balanced, egg was nicely done.
5. Chef V.P. Burger. Simple looking burger but damn it was well seasoned and tasty. I wished I asked for it medium instead of well done but first time eating here and don’t want no food poisoning myself over a piece of meat.

Overall, I actually really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere here. I think I might’ve found myself a restaurant I can frequent more, but let’s see how dinner is first.

The food was pretty good overall, I just loved how the ingredients in each dish were so balanced. This shows the love and expertise of the chefs which as a diner, I appreciate.

The service was very warm and welcoming from the host to my server. Throughout the course of the meal, my server was quite attentive and always around.

As for the atmosphere, I would say it has that mid end presence but comfy casual wear should be okay. (Comfy casual doesn’t mean a speedo and straw woven sandals).

I would definitely go back and try their dinner and to see how it is. (Please… be as good as the lunch experience!) For now, a repeat and recommendation by me if their food and service were as I experienced.

Staff is very friendly! When I had gone it wasn’t peak so it was empty! I really liked the chicken burger.

This restaurant has some unique touches I’ve never seen before (that I like),such as giving a pickle on the side, rather than in the burger, which gave a crunchy element to the whole meal, acted as a palate cleaner and help cut through the richness of the meal making it not to overwhelming.

Well, we came in at Valentine's night. They only offer Valentine's menu. The food is not tasty or worthy at all if you don't eat beef. We had to eat vegetarian and the food portion is small. I understand why other customers need to drink while eating because nobody can have these sober. Overall, don't come to this place on Valentine's. The dessert is the only one i like to eat though.

Superb food and drinks, although the portions are a touch small, so make sure you get some dessert! Our group hosted an event here and our servers were very attentive to our needs. The private dining room was very spacious, chic and comfortable. We would definitely consider hosting another event here!
