So Damn Lucky Glamping exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Rainforest “Tent” and couldn’t have been happier. The tent itself is so comfortable - we were able to sleep in the bed and futon as a family of four (two teenagers) and there was plenty of space for our stuff. The outdoor area though is the real gem. First of all, the outdoor kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked all meals with ease, and had everything we needed for clean-up too. We settled in every evening for dinner at the picnic table and Yahtzee into the night. And every morning, we took our coffee to our chairs by the beautiful beach and enjoyed the view which included sightings of a beautiful mama bear and her three cubs. Luckily, this was at a comfortable distance:)||Mark and Danielle were excellent hosts - attentive and helpful. They made us feel welcome and safe.||We enjoyed most days in the Pacific Rim National Park and the drive was totally manageable. 40 minutes to Tofino, 20 minutes to Ucluelet.||After our surfing days, we were happy to take a hot (hot!) shower back at the glamping site and settle in for another peaceful evening.||Overall, the experience was magical and we agreed we want to make it an annual trek with our kids.

Beautiful spot with really lovely wall tent set ups. The sites are quite private, and are right on the water. Outhouses are very clean. Lots of wood for the stove, which was quickly refilled when needed. Danielle and Mark were very friendly and helpful, and the tents and kitchens had everything we needed and more. We watched black bears walk along the beach across the bay with the supplied binoculars.

Love this place. Stayed at the site called Barrie. The bed is comfortable, plenty of things in the kitchen that you need and use, there's a walking path behind your site to view the ocean. There are showers on property. The hosts are amazing and very friendly. Would love to go back sometime!! There is also a propane fire pit to use when there are fire bans! Toilet is across the road from the site and is clean.

This was our first time glamping and what a great experience it was! We celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The peace and quiet was incredible, and being surrounded by nature made it even more special.||We loved waking up to the sound of birds, and watching the resident eagle family was such a treat! While we didn’t get a glimpse of the mama bear and her cubs, it was still pretty cool knowing they were just across the shore, practically neighbours.||The site had everything we needed; we just had to bring our food. It was so relaxing, and Danielle & Mark were absolutely wonderful hosts, so warm and welcoming.||We’ll definitely be back next year to celebrate another milestone. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience. We were so close to the beach , so much wildlife around us and it was remote! Very cool location! The site had an an amazing setup ,very well thought out from the kitchen, the food storage area and inside and outside of the tent. Although it rained and was a little cold, the indoor stove was fantastic and kept is cozy. We had a great introductory discussion with the owner Mark , super guy, very professional. Very responsive hosts, always responded to our questions right away through text.

I was on a solo roadtrip throughout Vancouver Island (I’m from Montreal, currently living in the Caribbean) and staying here was one of the highlights of my trip. I loved how remote and secluded it is, you can very much feel like you’re that much closer to nature. The sounds of the birds, wind and the waves is exactly what I needed. I stayed in the Yogi trailer and it was a very cozy experience. The trailer was equipped with all that you needed. The bathroom was steps away and the showers had hot water. The beach was merely steps away and on my second night, Danielle and Mark advised me to go and get a look at the beach, I got to see a mama black bear and her 3 cubs! They provide a great pair of binoculars and it made me feel like I was this much closer to the bears! I would love to go back to Vancouver Island (including here) and would absolutely recommend staying here away from the hustle and bustle.
