Le plus mignon et confortable B&B ! Les hôtes sont gentils, aux petits soins, et sympathiques. La chambre et les salles de bain étaient parfaitement propores, douillettes et confortables. Nous avons même profité de leur bain tourbillon la nuit! Le petit déjeuner était délicieux, avec un vaste choix de saumon qu’un des hôtes pêche ou se procure et prépare localement. Les hôtes nous ont même donné des conseils inédits pour la suite de notre route. On se sent chez soi grâce à leur chalheureuse attention. Au-dessus de nos attentes.

Je me souviendrai toute ma vie de cette belle expérience. Nous avons été accueillis par ce couple merveilleusement sympathiques qui ont pris soin de nous préparer un déjeuner vraiment sensationnel; Du saumon pêché et fumé par le propriétaire, des fruits frais, des fromages divins, de la charcuterie de qualité, des œufs, du pain, de la confiture maison préparé avec amour et sans compter l'excellent café servis avec le plus beau des sourire. Ils ont pris le temps de bien nous parler de la région et nous avons eu plusieurs discussions très intéressantes avec eux. Mon copain et moi avons bien dormi dans un lit très confortable. L’endroit était très propre et entretenu avec soin. Nous avons très hâte d’y retourner.

What a Gem!! Joop and Margriet were wonderful host, and very down to earth. they had 2 very friendly outside dogs that were lovely. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed sitting around the table in the evening with all of the other guest and talking about our day. Joop wasn't shy when showing his cold smoke hut and his lovely garden. Margriet was generous with her time and a great lady to be around. If we ever make it back to the area, we will definitely be staying here. The rooms were beautiful and quiet. The Breakfast was the best I could have ate. The 8 varieties of smoked Salmon options were done so well. If you do not like fish, that's ok too. Options were available. this was the highlight of our long vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed & breakfast in Port Alberni. Joot and Margrite are amazing hosts who made us feel at home, and experiencing their Dutch heritage made the experience even more special. The property is beautiful, with a lovely garden and outdoor space.||Breakfast was the best we had during our trip to the island. The spread was so thoughtful, with so many fixings and local touches. Joot served smoked fish he had caught and prepared himself, and Margrite’s homemade jams were delicious.||Our room was spotless with comfy beds, a spacious bathroom, and a private fridge. Conveniently close to Sproat Lake, this place is a gem we highly recommend!

Im so happy to post this review because they served up the best breakfast I have ever had, EVER. Joop and Margriet have a beautiful B&B and when they said "breakfast is included", I didn't expect this. Six, yes SIX different servings of salmon, a soft boiled egg, yogurt, fruit, three different breads, Dutch cheeses, coffee, juice, deli meats, homemade jams.......unbelievable! ||Joop and Margriet were wonderful to talk with and their B&B is spotless and very comfortable. Their dogs were super friendly and I was happy to have some furry faces to pet while talking fishing with Joop. He suggested my son and I visit the Stamp Falls fish ladder where we saw some splashing salmon and an eagle soared just over our heads going down the river. It was a fantastic place to see.||I'll remember this stay until they stuff me into the dirt. 20/10!

Joop and Margriet are lovely hosts, wish we could have stayed more nights. All our comms were easy, the house is top notch, comfy bed and facilities were lovely. Definately stay for breakfast Joop is a master Salmon smoker. We definately recomend and will book in again if we are back near Albernie BC

We had a last minute stay with Margriet and Joop at their very sweet B&B. This was such a little gem and we’re looking forward to when we can stay there again! The hosts were lovely, the room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. My favourite place I’ve stayed in a while, we will be back!

What a wonderful experience, everything from the scenery, to the breakfast, our room, the environment, it’s cleanliness and the beautiful hospitality of Joop and Margriet. A lovely couple. It was great, we enjoyed our stay there very much. We’ve already recommended Stamp Falls B & B to others. You won’t regret your stay here.
