It was absolutely incredible.
I had the nigiri combo, and every piece was seasoned to perfection. Easily the best sushi I’ve had here in Halifax.

I also ordered some tempura on the side, and it was freshly made
warm, crispy, and so satisfying.
I’m already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

I visited this place six months ago. The atmosphere feels quite different now compared to back then. I really liked the brighter overall vibe and the relaxing music. The clean restrooms were also a plus. The food seemed more refined and upscale, which I really appreciated.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this restaurant near my place, our new favorite restaurant! They have a huge menu including Korean foods, my favorite!. This place is actually owned by Korean and everyone in the kitchen are either Korean or Japanese.

I'm originally from Korea and I can confidently recommended their Korean foods (authentic, delicious & high quality) along with Japanese dishes. Hot stone bibimbab was amazing, best one in the city!

I have issues with gluten and canola oil which I mentioned immediately upon our server coming to the table. I asked if they had gluten-free soy sauce, which I was told they did. Later, I was told that there was a two dollar charge for the tablespoon of gluten-free soya sauce that they gave me. I ordered sashimi, which is usually safe and asked for a small bowl of sushi rice to accompany it. The meal came with miso soup which had soy sauce in it so I could not eat that and as well, some buckwheat noodles that had flour in them, I had hoped that the sushi rice could be substituted. I was never reassured about that and told there might be an extra charge. To be fair, the server was very new and had to go back into the kitchen and ask questions several times. my husband ordered a nigiri plate which also came with the miso soup and buckwheat flour noodles. His meal actually looked reasonable. When I got my sashimi, they were paper thin slices of fish. The rice that I was brought was normal steamed rice and I took one bite and realized it and asked the server if I could please have Sushi rice as what I was given was not sushi rice.
I had to ask for it yet another time as it was not brought out to me.
This was a lunchtime meal.
I felt sorry for the server so I still left a 15% tip because of that’s who I am.
We usually go to Sushi 10 one in Cole Harbour and we are treated so well there especially with regards to my allergies so my advice to you Bedford people who have to put up with this, it’s worth the drive to Pearl Harbour to get treated very well.
