Tending Gardens is a short taxi ride from the airport. The room is super cozy and clean. The grounds are a perfect garden with multiple open fire places. The hosts are amazingly friendly and helpful. After waking up Al and Teena made us the most amazing pancakes and we sat down and had a wonderful breakfast together. Being in Canada for the first time they also helped uss with all the information, tips and tricks needed to start our journey. We will check for vacancy here first the next time We're in Calgary.

We stayed in the Rose Room and were delighted to have air conditioning, a refrigerator, and tea kettle in addition to the private bathroom. Teena and Al were great! Breakfast was delicious! And the garden seating with the burbling fountain is not to be missed. We stayed two nights and enjoyed using the B & B as our base camp for Calgary sights and to head home via the airport close by.

Tending Gardens is a delightful little B&B; we only stayed one night, but we wish we'd been able to stay longer. Teena is a born hostess and decorator, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. We were her first guests of the year, and even early in May, the garden was an oasis of calm. DO NOT miss the breakfast! It was amazing 😀 We can't wait to stay there again!

Very nice stay and room. There was also an inviting chair outside where you could enjoy the evening. Coffee and tea facility ' s , a fridge who made a lot of noise and a lot of little things in the bathroom for in case you might need something. A breakfast was served with much skill and love. We hadn' t much time to talk to our hosts. |The stampede was that moment the most important thing in Calgary.

Our flight was delayed and we missed a connecting flight meaning we weren't going to arrive at the accommodation until 11.30pm. The hostess went out of her way to welcome us at this late hour which we were grateful for.She also recommended a scenic drive to banff with printouts the next morning . The breakfast was homemade yoghurt with fruit and nuts ( delicious ) followed by quiche which was a bit different but absolutely lovely. But this B&B is a bit different ; the bedroom has a tree decor but the room has all the comforts needed and a bed you could sleep in for a week. The quirkiness was just a welcome extra. I would stay here anytime. ||Also , the lift to the airport was much appreciated.||Thanks again.

The rooms are quirky, furnished with antique furniture and is amazing to look at. The gardens allow you an area to enjoy the evening and are private. The host is so helpful and the breakfasts are original and delicious. Cannot fault and highly recommend

We stayed for two nights last week with Teena and Al in tending Gardens and we really enjoyed it. It's been a long time since I've stayed in a place where the owners take such pride in their place and in the service they provide.||The house is lovely, I had the Garden Room with its bed stand made from sticks, full of curiosities and nick-nacks. It was certainly one of the most unique places I've ever had the pleasure to stay.||It is clean as a whistle, as I said teena takes such pride in its maintenance and the breakfast provided on both days were incredible, definitely the best I have ever had. Bar none.||The garden is really pretty too and there is a lovely porch upon which you can sit and relax the evening away.||It is very close to the airport so ideal to start or end a road trip and from downtown it is about a 20 minute drive, about the same 25 minutes maybe by tram with the station about 5 minutes walk away.||The restaurants in the area are poor really so best to eat in downtown. There is a huge general store nearby though if you need the basics.||Overall a huge thumbs up to Tending Gardens. it was expensive but sometimes in life you get what you pay for!

I loved this bed and breakfast. It was very unexpected to find somewhere this peaceful and serene in NE Calgary. ||The Rose Room was delightfully appointed with antiques and whimsical touches. ||Wonderful hosts who served scrumptious breakfasts.||I can hardly wait to return.
