Thanksgiving Ranch is a hidden gem, tucked away in the Crowsnest pass. The lodge has an amazing view of the mountains. The rooms were comfortable and fully appointed. The living areas were spacious and there were loads of board games, books, puzzles, seating areas and quiet nooks to explore. But best of all were the meals prepared by Brad - always delicious and accompanied by great conversation. We truly felt welcomed like family and left relaxed and rejuvenated. We would highly recommend a stay and will definitely be back!

Staying at the ranch was the highlight of our trip to Canada! The location was beyond perfect with beautiful views of the mountains. The lodge was stunning and our room was super comfortable. The horse rides were great fun. But the two best parts of the stay was Brads food and company! Thank you so much for making us feel welcome and treating us like family.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Thanksgiving Ranch! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by breathtaking nature, which we explored on horseback, making the experience even more memorable. We also enjoyed peaceful walks on the ranch's vast land and took the opportunity to visit Waterton Lakes National Park, which is just a short drive away and absolutely stunning.

The accommodation was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking or horseback riding. One of the standout features of our stay was the food. Brad, our host, prepared both breakfast and dinner with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and everything tasted incredible – you can really tell he puts care and passion into every meal.

Although Thanksgiving Ranch is only accessible by car, this wasn't an issue at all – you’ll need a vehicle in this area anyway. The communication with Brad and Christie before our stay was smooth and seamless, and they were always available to answer our questions.

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, nature-filled escape with excellent hospitality, this ranch is the place to be. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the ranch for 3 days and had a amazing experience.
The house has common areas which are very beautiful and have big windows that let you admire the view of the ranch. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
All the staff were thoughtful, from the time that the meals were served ( which were discussed with us prior in case of any food restrictions) till the moment we horse back ride. It was amazing be able to see so many animals up close.
We highly recommend this escape, to get close to this outstanding country life in the Alberta foothills.

Thanksgiving Ranch was one of the top highlights of our family's 3-week Canada experience. Here we truely experienced such a welcoming and enjoyable time at this gorgeous property in the corner of Alberta, that we will definitely be back. The property was stunning with wide open spaces all around and the lodge itself was remarkable with large bedrooms/apartments and welcoming common areas with plenty to see and do throughout our 3 day stay. Chrissy & Aiden were super accommodating with a horseback ride across the ranch for an afternoon and Brad was chef extraordinaire, provide not only excellent meals morning and night but always up for a chat about anything and everything from tourism to agriculture. Our family of 6 loved every moment of our visit and would highly recommend to all.

Thanksgiving Ranch was the highlight of our stay in Alberta. The enrapturing mountain view from the front of the lodge would be enough of a selling point, but every detail of Thanksgiving Ranch is carefully planned and flawlessly executed. From scenic trail rides to relaxing under the gaze of the Rocky Mountains, there is something for everyone. The biggest surprise for us was the food—Brad is an exceptional chef and baker and serves plates that would be at home in any fine restaurant. If you’re in southern Alberta, you should not miss this hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and get a jar of Bustard’s Mustard (a Thanksgiving Ranch secret recipe) before you leave.

We had a wonderful experience for our one-night stay at the Thanksgiving Ranch. Amazing Views, Luxurious Rooms, Brad's perfect hospitality and interesting conversations were the highlight of the trip. Hope to go back for a longer stay in the future.
