The food is everything here. Homemade, tasty, and real. I can't think of a better meat pie that I've had in my entire life! That's saying something considering the one I picked didn't match what I wanted that day, but that was the flavor I picked and not a slight on the taste or quality. I just wanted the pies my family were having.

The service by the owner was friendly and engaging. Can't recommend enough!

Let me just say, I’m not completely biased as I’ve known the owner for the majority of my life, but never before the Baked Aussie have I eaten such delicious, filling homemade pies. The sausage rolls are to die for and I can’t ever get enough of my chicken pot pie addiction that the baked Aussie has curated for me.
The service is amazing, and the atmosphere makes me smile with pride for the family and community it serves.
Watching this business grow from the ground up, has been a blessing to observe. More variety has become a norm over time and sometimes it’s hard for them to keep up with the demand I hear at the wooden shoe in Lethbridge. (Thanks to my parents I’m sure)
I do say I am completely smitten with the transparency and family first narrative this business possesses.
At the baked Aussie, they value your business and purchases. As they are reliant on them for their families livelihood.
I am so grateful to have watched this business strive and be built on values that I too believe in.
I will drive to fort Macleod from Taber for these pies and rolls.
I seriously don’t think the world is ready for such foods that make your mouth water just whilst thinking about them!

Really great hole in the wall restaurant. I felt like I went to Australia despite it being -25 outside. The food was really good. Will definitely be coming back for more.

This pie shop is a hidden gem in fort Macleod! Everything is amazing from her sausage rolls, to pies to deserts! My favourite at the moment is the bacon cheese sausage roll!!! Lots of frozen options for a meal later!!

Locals referred us to The Baked Aussie as we were craving a sausage roll. We were not disappointed. I had the jalapeño cheese beef roll. Pastry was flakey and delicious. The meat moist and tasty with a slight chilli bite. Hayley was delightful and a joy to speak with. Highly recommended if you need a meat pastry fix.
