The Beach House in West Vancouver is a stunning seaside restaurant known for its fresh, high-quality seafood. With chic and elegant décor, it offers a relaxed yet upscale dining experience with beautiful ocean views.

Prices are reasonable for the location and quality, and the portions are generous. The seafood platter was a standout—the oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful. While the mussels weren’t at their peak this season, the accompanying sauce was so good it more than made up for it.

The highlight of our meal was the scallop and prawn pasta—so delicious that my dad couldn’t stop raving about it. Overall, we had an awesome and thoroughly enjoyable experience. A great place for both special occasions and relaxed seaside meals.

We had a lovely dinner at Beach House Restaurant, enjoying the stunning ocean view from the patio. I ordered the Dockside Burger, while my wife went with the Chorizo Mussel Bowl—both were solid choices with great flavor.

The burger came stacked with jalapeño-havarti, secret sauce, and all the classic fixings on a griddled brioche bun. The filling was rich and satisfying, though the patty itself was just slightly on the grindy side. Still, the flavor more than made up for it.

The mussel bowl was a real highlight—steamed East Coast mussels in a smoky chipotle-tomato broth, topped with green onion and served with toasted focaccia. It was warm, hearty, and had just the right amount of spicy kick.

A thoughtful touch I appreciated was the flexibility with sides—I chose half fries and half salad, and was also offered clam chowder as an option at no extra cost.

Mark, our server, brought a good mix of humor and attentiveness, which made the evening more enjoyable. We also had the pleasure of meeting James, who kindly and knowledgeably walked us through the dessert menu with a relaxed, friendly approach.

Overall, it was a memorable evening—delicious food, welcoming service, and an unbeatable view. We will definitely be back.

I came with family to celebrate a retirement, and Sadie went above and beyond to accommodate our family. She made sure we were taken care of when the reservation didn't include that a family member with disability would not be able to walk far distances or use the stairs. A family member had changed our reservation from inside the main restaurant (with no stairs) to have us seated at the patio, which would be too difficult to get to. Sadie was so kind to make sure that we were comfortable, and we really appreciate it as we were flustered and ready to go home when initally they couldnt find alternate seating inside. Sadie pulled some strings and made it happen and I'm so grateful. Matt was our server and was great with recommendations and very personable. He made sure
to check in on us regularly without feeling overbearing. We got the seafood tower (a must-have), our mains (a mix of steaks and seafood), and tried all 3 desserts. My margarita was so good I had to order a 2nd 😉. A great experience, and I look forward to coming back in the future with my husband for date night and brunch with my girls.

I recently celebrated my graduation at Beach House, with my boyfriend, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The whole vibe was so warm and welcoming, every staff member was so nice, and a quiet a few even congratulated me which was super sweet. The manager came by to check in too, which made it feel extra thoughtful.

Our server, Michelle, was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. She suggested I should try their signature summer margarita, and wow, it was amazing; super refreshing and flavorful, the perfect drink to kick off a celebration.

For food, I loved that they offered customization options(I don’t eat red meat) and they were happy to switch the patty on their Dockside Burger to Cajun chicken. It was delicious and full of flavor. We also had the Parmesan fries, which were crispy, cheesy perfection.

Ahh their dessert Mango Pavlova was heavenly. Light, sweet, and refreshing—it just melts in your mouth!

If you're looking for a spot to celebrate something special (or just treat yourself), I highly recommend Beach House. Amazing service, great food, and the kind of atmosphere that makes memories. 💛

We had a wonderful evening at Beach House! The staff was kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

We started with the seafood étagère that was perfect to share, beautifully presented, and incredibly fresh. Every main dish we tried was a 10/10, full of flavor and perfectly cooked.

The wine was excellent, and we even got to taste a couple of beers before choosing, which we really appreciated!

Although we didn’t order dessert, the kitchen surprised us with a warm chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, a lovely gesture that made the evening even more special.

We’re a family from Switzerland, three chefs and one server and we were all genuinely impressed. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere and amazing service. If we’re ever back in town, we’ll definitely return!
